The fact players like Evans and Kevin McDonald have both done it for different reasons says a lot about their character. They could just as easily packed it in?

Whether this is a good signing or not, just like Huntington, with better recruitment in the summer we wouldn't be in this position end of. Yes you can't legislate for injuries but signing injury prone crocks seriously increases that risk. We are a joke of a club. Regime change now

Has now left. Suppose he served a purpose for the short time he was here, we have had much much worse that is for sure. Good luck to him, as I am sure he would be a solid L2 midfielder if he could stay injury free

 

Shame. He could do a job but fitness was always going to be the issue. When he went off injured in his last match I suspected that might be the last we see of him.

 

With his injury record, there was no point signing him.

He was a solid addition at a time when we desperately required some midfield steel, and likely on relatively low wages as he was trying to put himself in the shop window, meaning maximum effort whenever he played. I doubt he was ever going to be in GA's long term plans, it was a mutually beneficial signing

Personally I thought he was head & shoulders above anyone in the Swindon & Stockport games, despite only lasting about an hour in each match

 

How much money yet again wasted on a player that could break down at anytime ???????

It was only a few weeks to get over the injury backlog…..Not fussed tbh and hardly a sign of largess.

 

Chill out Gaz it was only ever going to be a temporary solution to our issues at the time. We have benefitted from having him, not suffered. The lad was a pleasant surprise

What, because they disagree with you? That's what forums are about. Yes Johnson was a crock but the others picked up injuries here.

 

They know what they're doing, that's the worry.

The only reason we only sign unwanted crocks (or young players on loan) is because they're significantly cheaper.

This, of course, is in complete contrast to the investment spiel we get from above.

The answer to your last sentence is, no they never learn! This is why we need a change of personnel in the recruitment dept
