    Is he the real deal though? In his 3 games he played, we conceded 5. At Charlton first half he was exposed time and time, lacking positional sense and turned a number of times. Yes, second half he improved. Not sure of Oldham away as not there. As for bury at home, I recall little of his impact on the game but I stand to be corrected.

    Just point out what I should be looking forward to. Not conjecture but fact based on his 3 games because maybe I'm missing the hype.

    Maybe a lesson learnt is how difficult it is to get the players you want in the January transfer window and they are wanting to get more cover in now if it means getting their targets?

    Fair point, but his performances were so far above Killa/NKP that he was a massive breath of fresh air.

    I thought Kilgallon was awful, and NKP even worse. Together, we had the worst full time centre back pairing I can remember.

    Didn't he lose Bunn for the equalizing goal and if memory serves me right, didn't Hanson dominate the Centre halfs when he came on?

    I know knack all about him but hey, looking at those video clips, he's young, pacy and can cross a ball

    What's not to like?

    After watching some of the dross from some of our so called "professionals" last season, I'm more than happy with this signing along with the earlier ones.

    I've a good feeling about this season, despite the negativity of some on here

    I have seen him play a number of times (not in person) when playing for the Socceroos and he is certainly a very good player. Solid defender, good in the air, and with the ball at feet, he is relatively quick and positionally aware... Definitley an asset for City...

    I would suggest he would have been in the WC squad if not injured... He's also a South Australian boy, so a bloody legend... :)

    What made him stand out and I think, why people are keen on him is because he looks like a tough tackler who is not afraid to "put it about".

    To be fair to you he did look a good player in the games he played, although the bar had been set at rock bottom so it wasn't hard to. Gonna need his experience next season with what will be a young team on the field.
