I actually agree with the overriding sentiment of your point, i've alluded to this in some of my posts too that i do believe that blindly continuing to attend despite a clear nonchalant approach from Rupp with regards to the club's progression won't do us any favours in the long-run.

However, Bronco is clearly comfortable sharing his passions for City on this forum and so much so that he has mentioned whom he goes to the games with and the nice reasons why, IMO it's a bit unnecessary to use that as an offensive to prove a point that's all I was saying.

Some do. Get excited after one win then think we are playing like champions. Act like teenagers.

Bradford City is a mess and has problems that people need to face up to and tackle.

 

How are you tackling it? Other than criticism of other fans

 

You won't get an answer because he hasn't DONE anything.....

 

In fairness to @Fordy117 he has consistently criticised the owner, CEO and every manager over at the least the last 6 seasons, and been proven correct time and time again. We all wish he'd be wrong with his predictions in June and July but what he says is correct. Something stinks at the club and numerous managers have hinted at it, unfortunately the one causing the stink or the owner for want of a better word refuses to look in the mirror. I don't however agree with the personal attacks on other supporters. We attend or don't attend, doing either doesn't make one a better supporter over the other.

 

He repeats what pretty much everyone else says. I don't see many posts in support of the current regime and plenty were saying in the summer that they were worried. It's this constant dig at people that THEY are weak because they don't change things while all the time he reckons to go to games and "praise failure" himself.

 

I can feel his frustration but his digs at individuals for them going to games is a bit out of order. Its never the fault of the supporters, you either choose to go or not and neither decision is wrong.

 

Anyone can carp from the sidelines knowing full well they don’t have the means to do anything about it . It’s lazy comment and the complete opposite of CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.

For someone @Fordy117 who “claims” to “ run” a car wash ….laugh out loud, suggesting they could run and operate a business with turnover into double digit £m turnover is hilarious.

 

That’s true. But the problem is that he was also hammering the previous owners and, arguably our greatest manager of modern times, when we got to the League Cup Final and got promoted in 2013, comfortably consolidated in League 1 in 2014 and got to the quarter finals of the FA Cup in 2015, in doing so becoming the only team to beat the European Champions elect at their home ground that season. Through this period, and into the Stuart season of the Wembley playoff, he was consistently carping, predicting relegation and failing to acknowledge any positives.
Some of his criticism may be correct now, but it’s hard to respect the judgment of someone whose negative vibes were so badly wrong in our last successful era, before the disastrous sale to Rupp and Rahic.

 

I’m not saying anyone is a better supporter. What I am saying we are all not on the same page. Until that happens this mess of a club will continue to get away with the shambles it is.

We all want the best for this club but come on this poor show has been going on for long enough. One or two wins in a row shouldn’t excite you, we all know the problems and we have to all fight to solve them.

 

Could have done a double header at Colchester, zoo in morning, footie in afternoon

 

You still haven't told us though what actions you are taking to solve the problem of the owner. I see no evidence that you are been proactive in that respect. All you do is knock your fellow supporters.

 

Our clubs problems have been well documented, what hasn't been stated is how to solve them
You state we have to fight to solve them then say nothing BRILLIANT !!!
Please tell us what actions you are currently taking
Personally I didn't renew my season ticket (and have no problems with those that did) to show my dissatisfaction
Hows your efforts going to right the wrongs at VP, we all have the clubs interests at heart, with your business acumen and experience you are ideally qualified to sort it out once and for all so come on lead by example

I'm not disputing that he has been critical of the owners, CEO etc....It's his criticism of other fans for being WEAK and DOING NOTHING when, in all honesty, he has exhibited no tangible evidence of DOING ANYTHING himself so by his own definition he is as WEAK as the other fans he's calling out.

 

Oh please put Smith out of his misery , he’s contributed zero.

They are poor too with their only threat is where we don’t have a RWB
