I don't think Sparks or Sharp, or whoever decides these days, will have the appetite to sack GA, when does his contract expire by the way?.

I personally want him gone now though. You've said it yourself, this is a very poor league 2, yet we still look a million miles off being a promotion side under GA. He's been here 12 months now and I see no progress whatsoever under him. Andy Cook alone is keeping us out of being in a relegation fight to preserve our football league status.

GA was very lucky to inherit Cookie, but he hasn't been able to construct a team around him to compliment him.

Its not all down to GA of course, how on earth Gent keeps his job for instance with his poor recruitment each window, is a mystery.

GA doesn't inspire me one bit with his ramblings each week and his awful football and tactics.

Time for David Sharp to step up and identify a new young manager/coach to come in and excite the suffering thousands of loyal fans.

    GA out.

The rot of this club starts with the owner and dips downwards and is now pooling with the players on the pitch.
The only constant good thing is the fans.
But paying and giving thier time to support city is waining at speed and they will soon disappear.
Where we go and how it stops, who knows?
Change will have to start at the top and start with a wholesale change from top to bottom.

Easier said than done though. If nobody is willing to pay the price Rupp wants for the club, we are stuck with him.

If he completes the purchase of the ground, then the figure will jump even higher.

He’s garbage and blew out of his arse after 5 minutes . Just like Aaron MCLean…..Remember him ?

One of Parky’s less than inspired recruits. I think I saw his debut, funnily enough I think it might have been at Colchester?

The lad you refer to is/ was no different.

Tell you what Olly , that’s normally my nailed on away game, living not too distant and probably yours too. .

That equaliser was no different to a last minute defeat, non whatsoever. Did we deserve it, yes frankly.!

    Totally disagree

Yes the players have a basic job but Sparks & Co have signed a squad of woeful idiots with little skills. The players can only play to the best of their ability, which is of an extremely poor standard. Not one single player signed in the past year, maybe with the exception of Sarcevic, have been decorated with great careers. Quite the opposite, they are all huge underachievers and it is 100% the job of the recruiter to carry out their due diligence and sign decent players capable of contributing to a promotion winning team

Therefore, the blame firmly lies on the owners, directors and recruitment team

Your opinion is as valid as mine…..
Same question applies to you , and don’t take this as a defence of ANY of those you blame……Where is this mystery owner coming from…..We are stuck until what we have until Mystic Meg turns up?

Gent should have gone after Carlisle and again last game of last season.
GA needs to go and Robbins needs recruiting no matter the cost!

    Absolutely
A struggling company doesn't get rid of the tea lady first
Jury still out on Sarcevic remember Stockport thought he wasn't good enough for L1
Sparks and co should be targeting players at least capable of consolidating in L1
Currently only 1 player falls into that category

It's partly on GA for the changes and not communicating who should be doing what at set pieces but it's also on the central defenders, probably Byrne if he's the leader/winner he is said to be. It needs a calm head on the pitch to say "you go there, you cover him". Our defending at set pieces is all about getting everyone in the box to overrun their efforts to score. Ridiculously basic.

Followed by 4 weeks of Huntingdon as caretaker manager after we inexplicably extend his contract in January, then appoint a new manager just before season tickets go on sale.

How on earth would I know?? As far as I’m concerned the ownership shouldn’t be down to us fans to decide who’s best to take over. But I’m sure if Rupp was realistic about what the club is worth then he’d have a few offers coming in

The amount of money the fans have contributed towards this club over the years is obscene, in comparison to the god awful return received. It’s a constant kick in the bollocks every single game we witness and the player ARE NOT the common denominator, nor is the manager. Players and coaching staff come and go over the years

Sparks must go and take his other cronies with him, they are the only ones we can hold responsible for failure season after season

It's the same old story, year in year out.

We've been at this level six years now and only once looked remotely capable of getting out of the division. Which was really on the premise of Cook bagging 30+ goals and a freak season performance wise from Lewis in goal.

Look at some of our data this season (taken from FotMob):
xG: 13th best in the division
    Big Chances created: 15th
    Shots on Target: 13th
    Touches in Opposition Box: 14th
    Passing Accuracy: 8th

Nothing in the underlying data supports us being anything other than midtable, perhaps even lower midtable.

How many years do we have to suffer this? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again whilst expecting different results. At what point do Rupp/Sparks/Sharp whoever look at us and accept they're a big reason for the incompetence? I'm not huge fan of GA either, but he's on a hiding to nothing being here. As any manager would be.

Been saying it all season - biggest weakness of last season (creating and scoring chances) has not been resolved and the defence has been weakened. No surprise we are where we are and we're only there because Cook is over performing going from the xG stats width of a post quoted.

Hi Kev, from what I saw of him when he came on he looked pacy, powerful and a handful for our defence.
A lot more effective than Lyle Taylor.
I remember him running at pace into our box and if it wasn't for a last ditch tackle, could have well scored.
Yes he did seem to fade a bit the longer the game went on but overall, I liked the look of him
Funny how we all see things a bit different!
ps....don't get me on about McLean, as much use as he is on DAZN Sports!
