He didn’t say they hadn’t either
Putting the events yesterday in the same bracket was wrong
Only Millwalls idiotic fans invaded the pitch and were intent on causing mayhem inside and outside the stadium that day, rather than celebrating their victory
By suggesting fans , that implicates both sets
    Which is wrong

I wonder if you're now supporting a ban for Rangers and Celtic fans from travelling to away games?

No because there hasn't been a problem when it comes to travelling to away matches. The problem's when they aren't having to travel as it's in the same city. Banning away fans in Old Firm games with the repeated problems would make sense but even thats more complicated as being in the same city it might stop issues inside the stadium but issues happening outside the stadium might still be an issue as its a 5 mile hop between stadiums so if the Ultra's want to cause issues a stadium ban isn't really going to stop them

They verbally abused my friend and I with our kids outside after that match. Our kids were less than 10yo and we did nothing to provoke them. Thugs the lot of Millwall. Did they receive any penalty for their behaviour that day?

Amazing how he sits there the font of all knowledge but his only contribution to the game was nearly busting a football club yet he sits there all high and mighty

None as far as I am aware. EFL blamed it on Wembley for lack of security. I sent several emails to the EFL and got nothing.

I was in the coach park that day waiting to get out. Loads waiting to get on our coaches and leave when about 20 Millwall started to come into the coach park chanting. Some of us rushed upto the top to stop them as there were loads of families and kids, mine included. Must have been a good fifty or so. One City fan picked up a metal roadworks sign and tw****d one of them. Did a runner after that...

How is it irreverent? Maybe rather than your fake outrage based on the OP misrepresenting what he said you should go and actually watch/listen and you will see its relevant because he mentions both matches directly after each other. It's hardly 'Whataboutism' when it provides direct context. He doesn't mention either City or Italian fans, he doesn't say both sets of fans. He just says fans caused issues in those games as part of his discussion of the problem of Ultra's across most of football and not just a problem for the Old Firm

"Between Bradford and Milwall, where their fans invaded the pitch and caused mayhem"

Think it's pretty clear cut that he's placed the blame on both sets of fans invading the pitch which, put simply, just isn't true.

It's all about the wording and.what your narrative is. His term in referencing the pitch invasion and him using it as an analogy to what happened yesterday.was 'their fans'. A generalisation that I would expect anyone without knowledge of the game to mean both sets of fans. Not a first world problem but does implicate that Bradford.were involved in the pitch scuffles otherwise the descriptive from Jordan should have made it clear with the word Millwall instead of their.

Fake outrage , far too long in the tooth for drama ? . You did it again when someone says
“ fans” by definition anyone would assume it means “ both “ sets of supporters . Not fans of Millwall , not Bradford fans , not both sets of fans he said fans ( plural). If that wasn’t meant to come across as it did he should have said MILLWALL fans invaded the field . Badly worded !

What happened 9 years ago was similar to what happens every year, but at Wembley which was unprecedented at the time, in that one set of fans invaded the pitch. What happened that day was closer to what happened last year against Fleetwood than what happened yesterday. Yesterday had no relevance with a ‘standard’ one team pitch invasion and simply shouldn’t have been mentioned. It wasn’t a relevant example in the slightest, but the fact he mentioned two Wembley situations to me shows his lack of understanding on the subject.
