Tilt seems to go from one extreme to the other-he's either immense or absolutely awful. There is no middle ground.
I think given his age, hes probably on the slide now.

 

Tbh I agree with the 3 people have said, no one else. But I won’t be refreshing Twitter every day to see if they’ve resigned. With the out of contract players, they can all be upgraded on its on the club to show the investment. We need more pace and technical ability going forward (Bolton on my mind) so the loan market will most likely need utilising.

 

Read that too and just shook my head. He's been our most consistent player all season and very rarely puts a foot wrong.

 

I think we've performed better as a team when he's played at lcb. The injury to Tyreik when he was flying impacted us in more than 1 way.

Are you missing the part about his job being to offer width and attack on the left? He offers nothing at all, isn't a natural centreback, and there are better options out there. Some serious blinkers on here

 

Of course there are better options, there are better options for all of our players but if we're replacing players in order of team strengthening then Touray is way, way down the list.

 

With the new budget rules, I can see a lot of clubs using a youth team player as their no.2? Saves a wage that can be utilised elsewhere? So could we see Hadi as no.2 next season?

Hilton played a grand total of 0 minutes in League 1 this season. I think Walker will be here next season as a result of that.

 

Agree , in spades , but damn decent wages have to be paid if quality is required … Cheap loans are cheap for a reason Wilsden . There are gems but everyone is chasing them?

In the air and in a physical duel, Tilt is the better defender. Suited to games where we are gonna sit back and deal with a lot of crosses

in a 1 v 1 vs a quick, skilful attacker, id rather have Touray. He's also the better footballer, better with the ball, more of an attacking threat, and links up better on the left wing with Wright and Pointon

no big feat though truth be told. As much of a fan as I may be of Tilt, I don’t think I've come across a player who looks more uncomfortable with the ball at feet than him

 

Funnily enough my father in law is a donny season ticket holder, says he's done really well there!

I can just imagine the meltdown if we did. He's a terrible defender and I'd even keep Baldwin if he was the only other option to replace him!

Having said that, he makes less individual errors than Baldwin and he doesn't pump it out for a 40/20 as often so perhaps I need a rethink.

 

I wonder if we'll move Kavanagh on. I must admit I've not been following his progress since he went out in loan, but he's hardly been mentioned so it can't have been a success. Still a year on his contract I believe.

He left in Jan on a perm move. He's already back in Spain for the summer, couldn't believe he spent the entire summer in Marbella last year, from his social media he came back days before training started and from memory didnt he pick up an injury really early into pre-season? Then never got going. Felt really unprofessional.

He's had a falling out at Oldham already, feels like they'd get rid this summer. Again, unprofessional issues being attached to his name, including liking social media posts from Sky covering it or the other teams posts, whenever someone took points of Oldham during his end of season exile.

I felt he had an arrogance about him. Not a CR7 or Cantona type, an unlikeable, unwarranted arrogance. He had an attitude, that was clear and I remember him and GA having a bust up mid match. Didnt see him much after that.

He isnt as good as he thinks. You can tell when he when he wass trying those pathetic outside of the foot passes that went to the opposition.

Oldham need to look at their process. They had Harrat too.
