    Finally decided to go Oldham as I can't make Wednesday's game against Boro due to work commitments. I presume there is still plenty of street parking near the ground like when we have been previously.

    I use to park near the junction of Underhill Road and Compton Street. Just under 15 minutes walk to the ground. At the end of the match, it is relatively easy to get onto Chadderton Way and then the A627M. It is located in a reasonable residential area.

    I have been several times before but thought I read somewhere that street parking had changed with permit parking now in operation near the ground

    That is why it isn’t the bottom of Goodson Street (near the hospital). Basically it is not be free of restrictions until further away from the ground i.e. Underhill Road area.
    I park near the junction of City & Sunbridge Road when I go to VP, which is marginally a longer walk.

    7th May 2005 we played them last game of season. They needed to win to be sure of staying up, we had nothing to play for. Ended 2-1 with Windass scoring for us, partnered up front by the other Andy Cooke!

    Living in Homlfirth at the time. Beautiful warm sunny day in mid 60s. I thought I would take a coat and sweatshirt anyway despite a similar forecast for Greater Manchester. By the time I arrived low 50s and horizontal rain. Almost every city fan in shorts and t shirt !!

    Is it POTG and is there parking next to the ground? Last time I was there there was a huge area of grass/ gravel next to the ground we parked on (20+ years mind)

    A few changes from Wednesday as expected. Big chance for Swan, if he can play as well as he did on Wednesday I think he will give himself every chance of getting a start against Wycombe. Looks like Metcalfe will be the main competition for Power, Pattison not in the squad so hope that isn't another injury for him.

    No sign of Jack Hunt, presume he has been told we are not offering a contract.

    Somebody called Jack Stevens for
    Oldham, apparently we had him on loan, I genuinely cannot remember him

    We had Jordan Stevens, Jack Stevens signed for Oldham in the summer from Solihull Moors and spent most of his career in non-league
