I am going to this one and I think it’s fair to expect some resemblance of a football match with a show of superior quality against opposition 3 divisions below us albeit played at a slower pace.
Nobody expects 100% full tilt blood and thunder but at least try.

 

Haven't looked into this but who are City playing behind closed doors tomorrow?

 

Not sure but surely it will take place away from Valley Parade otherwise why didn't we rearrange the Scunthorpe fixture to a home game unless the club didn't want three games on the surface before the official season starts.

 

Yup, it’s hideous. Plain backs on striped shirts always look ridiculous.

It was said our pitch isn't ready to play on and hence we couldn't reverse the Scunny fixture. Key point there being we didn't expect ours to be ready unlike Scunny who committed to the fixture on the basis there's would be ready.

 

They committed in February to be fair, unbeknownst to them at the time there pitch wouldn't be ready. It's not been the greatest spring/early summer to lay a pitch

 

Aye, we'll be shifting the start dates in a couple of years to start the season in September and run until the end of may to avoid the rainy season

 

Surely we can’t be playing at VP? We can’t be playing on our new pitch as it will be wet through and might damage the young shoots.

 

How do we avoid Nov to Feb when 70% of our home games are postponed.

 

It's a football league rule though isn't it? I'm sure it was brought in a number of years ago so I'm assuming there's not much we can do about it if you all want stripes as a kit.
