    If your central midfield triangle is Smallwood, Gilliead and Chapman, then no wonder you lack creativity. Slow in thought, ponderous in application and lacking dynamism.

    All he does is come on gives away cheap fouls free kicks allowing them to waste more time.

    I think teams are sussing us before we kick off.
    They know we piss about with it at the back and have no thrust from midfield.
    Hurry us in the middle and we resort to hoofing it.
    Keep Cook quiet and we’ve no other threat.

    Carlisle commentators saying the Bradford fans were a little unfair Smallwood was running midfield then says Simpson put Mellish on Smallwood and he did a good job, unfortunately those fans see what Smallwood offers week in week out and for a player with his ability its not enough.

    I've spent the match listening to the Carlisle commentators and they've been very balanced tbh.

    The point they made is that Smallwood played well and ran the midfield in the second half prompting Carlisle to drop Mellish into midfield and from there they took control again. I thought that was a fair point.

    Smallwood is the least of our problems although if someone else could take over his corners, that would be great.
