Rahic is an idiot for even going over to talk to Collins and Drury like that during the game. Doesn't even matter what was said, the fact he is seen to be doing it is plain stupid. Totally undermines the manager and gives a field day for an already rabid social media. Quite why he didn't wait to do it behind the scenes is bewildering.

 

It's OK lads - I have just got out of the dressing room. Wrighty is giving the second half team talk as we speak - what can possibly go wrong?? Onwards and Upwards - like me!!

Do we even know at what point in the match the photo was taken ? Were we playing, was it as they sat down at the start/ half time ? All relevant.

It was half-time the players hadn't come back out yet. I guess they were still in the dressing room with Abbott?

 

Living overseas, I watched the game on ifollow. The camera

I watched it on ifollow and that was my interpretation as well - I couldn't understand why Collins wasn't in the dressing room when the players were still in there. Also Mellor's kit was brought to him to change into in the dug-out. I suspect he wasn't in the dressing room either and hence missed all the half time instructions, tactics discussion etc. It was also noticeable that when their goalkeeper went down with time wasting cramp in the second half all the players came across for a drink/instructions from both sides. Our three coaches all remained seated in the dug-out (unlike the Southend party). The drinks were given out by the kitman I believe and it appeared that no guidance or instruction was given to our boys. It struck me as so odd.....

 

Bang on, I watched it on i-follow too and me my mates noticed practically all you've mentioned. We also came to the same conclusion, very odd.

Judging by their body language, they weren't expecting him to come over. Both craning over their shoulders as if startled and interuppted. I suspect he's talking at them rather than to them, as they are both looking attentive as if suprised by a direct comment at them.
Body language from Edin is certainly someone who is trying to be in control and is issuing a command rather than a statement of good luck.
As mentioned, needs to be put into context with timing, situation of the game etc.
I don't think anything can be read into it, apart from the two below are looking a little startled, and the one up top is trying to be the enforcer. BUT we all know that anyway
