Match Thread Burton Pizza Event(with Poll)

Its a hard ask, playing when you've been in the cold around players who've also featured little of late. But you have to stake your claim. No one has put in any sort of claim for a spot this weekend. And we certainly need to strengthen at the back and central midfield in January. Songo'o aint a centre back, Odusina looks ropey at best, Hendrie is awful, and Sutton has a nuisance factor when played further up but is a complete liability when playing in central midfield. The forwards have been poor too, but difficult to have any sort of impact when everything behind you is a shit show.

Despite what MH will say in interviews, you can tell he cares little for it with his selections.

 

Songo'o may not be a centre half but, on this showing Odusina isn't even a footballer.

 

Any of our players moan about not playing in the future show them this game, fecking disgraceful.

 

Odusina has had a nightmare start to his career here.

Injuries and illness pre-season and looks way out of his depth when selected.

 

Really lucky for us to go through, cant imagine many teams losing 4-0 and still progressing through to the knockouts.

Hopefully hughes does still rotate players but hopefully he understands Platt and Crichlow are untouchable.

Hopefully we get a naff team.

I try and be positive with regards every game Bradford City play be it the League FA Cup or the Pappa John Trophy when players get their chance they’ve got to give everything and burst a gut to show the manager what they offer, I'm not sure any one of them have done that tonight no excuses IMO second best from the first whistle and never looked like getting back into the game never mind score.

 

Treated that like a pre season friendly. Didn't look interested from minute one.

 

I am sure those that actually paid for their ifollow viewing tonight felt let down.

Can't believe I stuck with that and watched to the bitter end. I think it must have been the nostalgia aspect of it, reminding me of what it used to be like watching us week in week out not that long ago.

That wasn’t to do with a lack of quality imo the players just didn’t look interested. Really poor when they need to be giving the manager something to think about, 2 hours of my life I’ll never get back.

 

I'm just surprised we haven't scored 7 after selecting Oliver up top to bring the other 10 into play.

To be fair the step up is quite hard for our second string. Even our first team would struggle un Div 1. Luton, Roterhham and even Bristol City when they came to pay us look really good sides as they went up. Its another step up in class.

 

I got loads of ironing done. Silver linings and all that.
