There will be some worth keeping, what MH will be now doing is working out which of them have more to offer if they have better, fitter and more astute players around them - but I agree it shouldn't be many of the ones he can release!

 

to be fair I thought Rovers were the best team I've seen us play this season, way better than FGR as a unit and they're on a roll. Songo'o and Bass kept it respectable but the rest of the defence had nightmare

That's what can happen when you suss out the division and make top signings in January. Our signings in January must have been hampered through us making such star signings in August.

 

A good point becuase earlier in the season Bristol Rovers were the worst team I'd seen us play all season. To be fair Barton has turned them around to be a team looking like promotion candidates.

 

@Rogered Tart - I was at the home game, first half they were shocking, not quite as bad as our finishing though. Half time Barton sent on a sub who turned the game, they were excellent second half. Still can’t stand Barton though even if he has turned things around down there.
