    Yep if there’s one thing I’ve learnt about the ladies it’s that they’re always hot for guys who constantly bang on about how nice their car is on a League 2 football club message board.

    What a great bunch MH has assembled, they may not all be the best players in the league but the team spirit amongst them seems sky high and as we well know at this level alongside graft it's probably the most important ingredient.

    Yes I noticed that. All of his throw ins were essentially one handed. The other hand started out on the ball but played no role in propelling it.

    I agree about Platt. Just wish he would be a bit bolder sometimes.There were a few occasions today when he didn’t have a pass option forward to Smallwood or Gilliead but had 10 or 15 yards clear space in front of him to move forward with the ball and then make a pass.
    He chose not to and instead passed back to Lewis.
    I think it would enable us to move the ball forward a bit quicker if he was a bit braver.

    It’s a minor criticism and I know his main job is to keep the ball out which he is doing brilliantly at the moment.

    Chinese make now, they are big into very cheap cars . Right up your street if you want to go electric. There’s a ship en route to the UK with thousands of em on board.

    Who was the last City striker to hit 20 in a season? Wells in L2 promotion year? Did Wyke ever?

    Fingers crossed the big man stays fit. Great to watch a City striker in such fantastic form.
