He was clapping a lot of the diagonal balls so it's clearly something he wants the centre halves to do.

Problem is, we landed about 3 out of 30 so the 3 at the back just don't have the skill set to pull it off.

Spot on this, he's hanging Kav out to dry asking him to play this role. No coincidence Kav looked better last season when he had a player like Pointon or Walker playing the role he's being asked to play. I'm no football manager but I never fail to be astounded at some of the decisions pro managers make, surely he can see what Kav brought to the team last season in his preferred role?

I thought Baldwin played some decent balls into Cook on a lower trajectory reminiscent of Tony McMahon

 

We look harder to beat but seem a little less creative.Hopefully we can get that balance right and we should have a decent season barring any long term injuries.

Regardless of how disjointed we looked attacking wise yesterday, we DID score a legitimate goal.

 

Get those balls right and we will get teams on the back foot as that got us out of defence and into attack very quickly indeed.

 

Unfortunately I don't think Rupp is going to extra invest in buying TAA.
