Premature decision in my opinion.
No way the pitch would have been frozen at 3pm.

yet further evidence that we live in a nanny state.

so now it’s another Tuesday night game which excludes a few thousand from attending.

 

I am sure the club wanted the match on. Unfortunately even if temperatures warm up a bit the part of the ground in front of the main stand will take time to defrost. Good decision and it saves me having to decide whether or not to travel

 

Under this government and the Bank of England yes we do.

But now several thousands of fans won’t be able to attend the game on a Tues night due to a decision THEY didn’t make.

And got the council to grit the approach roads & pavements

 

And all this with a train strike making it super hard for fan to get anywhere near Brisbane Road

 

if city had asked the council to grit the pavements and roads around the stadium, they would have sent them to odsal

 

40 days or almost 6 weeks between home games, fantastic unbeaten home run.

 

Won’t happen Col , because half of the tight arses on here don’t like paying Council tax

 

You do post some crap at times, this match being postponed has nothing what so ever to do with fans not making a call either way get off your high horse, uber fan.

 

The attendance will be less , as always on a Tuesday evening and it could be that some who can make it on a Saturday, can not on an evening. Possibly a few from Rochdale also wanting a re fund.

 

And what is possible if you've got a Premier League club who use the ground for their women's teams so put money towards the pitch and equipment.

 

What you droning on about? I was referring to Park debating whether he should travel or not. That was always his decision, if he travelled and it was called off at 2pm then so be it.
Many fans now cannot attend on a Tues night simply because it was called off early.

 

I was not replying about the size of the crowd but the manner in which @Loyalbantam had a go at a fellow fan, and implied the fan had some input into todays game getting postponed.

 

I know exactly who you and what you was on about, as I posted the decision wasn't made by @Park bantam just because he was questioning if it was worth traveling.
Of course a Tuesday night game will have a smaller attendance but several thousand, really.

 

Dropping out of the play off spots as things stand.

Obviously we haven't played, and so have a game in hand over some (2 over Swindon), but better to be in the play offs than to rely on getting a result.

 

There will probably a few thousand more relieved that game today has been called given the weather conditions in some parts
