You'd hope so the first short corner that completely opened up our defence was a great routine thank goodness the guy who was wide open couldn't get his shot on target, there are loads of different routines out there but for some reason its usually the ball just aimed at the middle of the penalty box, the one I remember (I believe we scored from it) was the one Stuart took lifting the ball over the defence for Blake to get on the end of.

 

I've defended Oduor more than almost anyone on here (indeed, he's going to cost be £10 to the Burns Unit through his failure to kick on!) but he's had a lot of chances and hasn't taken them, now we've bought replacements.

And that he might have been able to get into those mentioned teams is a damning indictment of those teams, rather than praise for Oduor!

They also used that free kick routine away at QPR and we scored from it. But I think it was Gordon Watson who put it in rather than Blakey.

I think it would do very well in a second string division, but yeah, like you see would need augmenting with a few first teamers imo.

 

It was a game that highlighted Paul Jewell’s tactical deficiencies.
At 4-3 up we should have shut up shop and seen the game out as we also should have done in the 5-4 loss at West Ham when we were 4-2 up.

 

Anyway, back on topic, the law of averages would suggest having already won 8 home games on the spin that this run cannot continue forever.

I fancy us to continue our very good home form what Scott Lindsey is saying they aren't playing well but he believe they will turn the corner soon but two of their best defenders are missing through injury Jack Sanders and Nathan Thompson Lindsey was saying they have used three keepers in the short time he's been at MK.
