Either that or he’s come back injured from Swindon and after a couple of days training GA doesn’t think that he’s fit enough to play or come on as a sub. GA has made it pretty clear that he’s not interested in playing anyone who’s not fully fit.

We know that Young has been playing with an injury for Swindon. Not sure why his absence today is assumed by many to indicate that he’s being sold. It’s surely more likely that he’s simply not fit enough to play today.

 

I had the same impression, looking at the team sheet. Maybe he's not 100% yet. The same perhaps could potentially be said for Chapman. Maybe he hasn't been 100%, an GA didn't want to rush him back into the fold, to avoid a similar fate to that of Pattison

Are we tired, or just not very good? None of the back 3 or Ridehalgh look good enough to me, and Odour shows talent in pockets but goes missing too often. We look disjointed and ineffective. Honeymoon period over…?

All we're hearing is how we'll Crawley are passing the ball (oh yer, on that terrible pitch where passing is difficult!!)

 

Oh yes, definitely not good enough but the pressing and harassing from the Stockport match (and before) is way way gone.

Ridehalgh can't get up and down the pitch so he either needs to stay back and defend or stay up and attack. That's why I was advocating for playing a more attacking player there but GA is showing an unwillingness to change things unfortunately.
