Yes. Amidst all the euphoria I don't think we should lose sight of how poor we were for a lot of the game, Gilliead especially. Surely Banks or Chapman are better options for home games. No problem for Gilliead in away games but not at home.

What’s better the injury time goals or bating a team that clearly tried to waste time for a point

over the moon that game was a bailed on loss a couple of weeks ago but at least we battled it through

Ah,the old “homer” ref argument.

The same ref who only added a total of 5 minutes after constantly pointing at his watch for the whole 90 minutes of a game which had the most blatant time wasting you’ll see for a while.
The same ref who booked 3 of ours and only 1 of their players(and only then when their 16 picked the ball up and ran back on to the pitch with it)

That ref?

 

I always wonder why a team comes out with that attitude second after playing a first half where they looked the more likely to score. Why change your tactic to defend a point.

 

Because their player was getting fresh with our players and the fans. There were fans fighting with them. Walker was basically subbing salt in the wound.

 

That's not nice.

 

We need to talk about Scottie (and no i dont mean our yellow card collector jamie walker)

Banks brings us some energy and can finish, thought he was playing well until his first injury and now needs more game-time on the pitch mr Hughes.
One that can really help City finish out the season on a high note.

Apparently so!

The added time situation was nothing short of a disgrace - we've spent ALL SEASON with 8, 9, 10 minutes getting added on as part of a clamp down on wasted time, then this ding dong turns up and gives us a 1 & and a 4?!

Indefensible.

Players adapt to what's expected, you can't just randomly start adding very little time on.

 

No problem. Just wish we had a more positive approach at home.
