I know, noticed that too. How can you not celebrate a finish to a game like that. Must be a day tripping neutral

I asked the grandson was it a shot or header from the monster he said a header grandad, on seeing it that was no ordinary header, very much a Tony Leighton header boy could he jump and stay in the air, just like a tin of John West ha ha ha I love it, great awareness for the assist for Bankside, a goal poacher in Cooks sort of form doesn't usually look for an assist just proves what an all-round game Cook has.

All the more sweeter victory over their time wasting tactics. It's about time we ragged a home win.

THAT noise when Cooks header went in-Reminded me of Villa at Home Cup Semi.

I know this might sound harsh but was Smallwood ever on, his delivery today was poor to say the least, credit to Hughes for bringing the lad off, in fact credit to Hughes for making some very good subs today most contributed to our late come back.

Plus the reaction from the whole squad was ace to watch. Hughes jumped higher than Cook celebrating the goal.

Walker stood on halfway line fist pumping right in front of one of their players who was trying not to notice, was pure class.

Real team spirit on show today.

    Bantam progressivism is truly alive.

Wow what a finish. I can forgive the lads for a flat performance for 80 minutes today after that.

How sweet is an injury time winner, and then to go and score again on the break, a long time since I celebrated goals like that.

For once I agreed with the sponsor with the man of the match today, Haliday was excellent today.

Come on Fordy, come on and admit Cookie is worth his place in the starting eleven.

Colchester surprised me in the first half, they played some good stuff and looked to have more energy than us.

Why is it we seem to play better and score more goals attacking the Bradford End?

Good substitutions today, although I would have taken Costelloe off earlier. Sorry to say but he looked well out of his depth today.

Onwards to the next 2 away games now, be happy with 4 points, but surely we are capable of 6?

I am still buzzing. I was disappointed and thinking yet another limp performance when the team stepped up. It was just amazing the noise was insane. Then a second. CU got everything they deserved.

As I posted earlier I was amazed when the referee kept pointing to his watch during the first half then adding 1 minute extra time, he then allowed Colchester to carry on with their time wasting antics during the second half with similar gestures with regards his watch then only adds 4 minutes, as you say they got theiir come upance at the end of the day.

Absolutely buzzing about today's result, only Colchester many would say but totally against the grain for City to follow up 2 great wins with another win against a so called lesser team especially at home. My lad grabbed my phone on our way home to Cliviger and purchased us tickets for Walsall Tuesday, haha I didn't get any say in the matter so I'll now have to come up with a story to get outta work early Tuesday.

I don't agree his delivery was poor, he took a few free kicks that were bang on the money today, not sure about corners like.

I'd actually said at the time "why does Smallwood always take the free kicks" but he shut me up, to be honest, Dave!

I think if I was one of their fans I’d be a bit pissed off that after a 250 mile trip away your manager sends your team out with the explicit instruction to waste time from minute 1 of the game.
I’ve no qualms with teams who come and “park the bus”. Or go 1-0 up and waste a few seconds here and there.
All teams do that (even us)
It’s up to the home team to break them down.
I also don’t expect teams to come and pile forward from minute 1 either.
But today was so blatant it was scary.
They weren’t even subtle about it.

The daft thing was that when they did play a bit of football I thought they looked ok.
They looked quite mobile in midfield and counter attacked with a bit of pace.

Why the manager chose the option that he did is a strange one.

It was nice to shove their antics right up them today with the 2 late goals.

Cook is worth in the starting 11. That was never the issue I had with him. It was his work rate off the ball and not creating things himself.

However, in his last 3 games he’s been outstanding and all credit to him.

    Brilliant substitutions today.
AG offers nothing and RS just sulks if things don't go his way.

I don't agree with you about his work rate and lack of creativity, but I do agree with your last sentence and I'm glad you acknowledge his outstanding contribution.

Noticeable how the subs ran on including Smallwood. Looks like they are all in it together which is good.
