Don't think Stevenage will go up automatically and we will beat them in playoffs!

say he didn’t play Cook yesterday you seriously think we would have for a result ?????

strikers need chances they need balls into the box and we didn’t do either .............. so folk can blame which ever player they want from Cook to Smallwood I lay the blame on him on the touchline who let us sleepwalk into that defeat yesterday ............... seriously if we stay down and he’s at the helm next season then I simply cannot stomach another poor season of that dross ........... a win yesterday would have put us within 4 points of 3rd and even Stevenage are wobbling at the wrong time ............. but no not him makes me actually wonder if they actually want promotion this season because time after time when we actually look like doing something we pull out yet another piss poor performance like that

Well it has all been said one way or another. I watched on ifollow I have no words to describe what happened yesterday. I know it was ultimately down to the players to produce the goods but Mark Hughes is the manager/coach. It his responsibility to research the other team and put out a team that can attack the opposition and gain 3 points at home.

What is really worrying me is that there appears to be no learning taking place. He takes an age to see what we can see. Worse than that, he blames the opposition for parking the bus. What happened yesterday was they decided to double park the bus when they scored and they did it very effectively.

I think if he doesn’t drop his stubbornness and learn. Yes he has the right to expect players to give but he needs to give them the right combination.

Is that fraud still in a job.

    In fact...

Rupp, Sparks, Hughes, and the so called scout... F*** off out of this club. And take the players with you. You're all over paid clueless numpties.

Ranyors questions have been poor for a while now. I absolutely hate his commentary too, needless shouting to build excitement when in reality feck all is happening…

Yes if your going to be the one who does the post match interview, with Hughes comments yesterday you would have thought Oliver for Esia rather than Costelloe sounded a perfectly logical question to ask especially if as we were not physical enough with their defenders.

Totally agree, I do hope your wrong but Hughes was pretty critical of his strikers most would recognise it was striker rather than strikers, a very disappointing comment when you look back and seen the service the front men got.

We need to be far more direct and adventerous when chasing a game. 77% possession and 0 shots on target is abysmal. Players and Manager to blame there. I sometimes dont know what game Hughes is watching.

Barrow had 1 win in 13 before today. When are we going to stop this rot of gifting out of form teams the 3pts - especially at home!!!

During post match interview Hughes IMO made himself sound silly saying we offered (no physical presence up top) which is rare with regards Cook, so why when Esia pulls his hamstring did he not put Oliver on along side Cook with orders to get stuck in for a full 45 minutes plus, those 3 at the back must have won 90% of balls in the air which again suggests Hughes got it wrong when he had a lad on the bench who is 6'2" it doesn't make sense.
I do understand the reason he may have brought Costelloe on it looked as if Hughes wanted him to run at Barrows big defenders as there possibly slow on the turn we certainly know Canavan is, which then makes his comment of not messing with the Barrow defenders sound even dafter.

Not a fan of 3 year contract Oliver to be honest
He would have swapped him for Cook and that's a downgrade
Should have brought him on for Eisa

I just don't think MH is focussed on the job in hand Dave, we need a manager on the way up not on the way down ....

One think that's not been mentioned is that we conceded because of this desire to keep the ball and control possession.

If, in tight spaces, we are a little more pragmatic and put it into the corners to turn them we don't lose possession in dangerous areas and we concede way, way less, good opportunities.

I understand the desire to keep the football but we also have to be intelligent enough to address the risk/reward aspect as a lot of our opponents chances in home games come from our over playing and we seemingly create a lot less at the other end as a direct result of keeping the ball 70 yards from their goal.

Supporters starting to question Mark Hughes well who can blame them.
He picks the team and in the next breath he's more or less implying said team aren't responding to clear match instructions.
Baffled who tells them to play the ball back then?
If it's not him then why do we need a manager then?
Players doing what they want on the field of play.
Who's responsible then the supporting public of Bradford who vent their anger at negative tactics.
Get a grip we want entertaining in the oppositions box not the tunnel.

What does Oliver actually do though? He wins nowhere near enough for his size, he very rarely links our attacks, he hasn't got the pace to run in behind and stretch a defence and he doesn't really offer a genuine goal threat.

I get options are limited but for me he's just another bog standard league two striker that won't really improve us.

I believe at times Hughes is too focused mate to the extent of its my way or the highway, Hughes is the one who carries the can for how we do but there seemed so many contradictions in his post match interview you have to question his subs given he says we didn't mess with their defenders yet chose Costelloe to replace Esia, maybe he expected Costelloe to open them up with his style of play which is quite feasible but then don't make comments with regards Barrow defenders getting an easy ride.
