I've not given the full context with his words to be fair to him. He was saying that he feels the players have been playing under the pressure of having to try and catch up all season and they haven't been able to shake off that pressure and perform as he'd like. He compared it to the cup run where they seem to be able to play well and have been getting results.

I didn't see a lot of either game Kev so I won't judge but every time I looked up he seemed to be on his backside.

 

With 8 defensive minded outfield players on the pitch I would hope that we defended well if I'm honest.

 

Yep, too defensive by half, our attacking play was relying on Gilliead(how many goals and not a regular scorer), Chapman(just back and not a regular scorer) and Young making a stab of it on his own with little created for him to become a regular scorer
If Graham is dropping Cookie then someone else is going to have to score right?
Plenty of corners in the first half but didn't find any of our big defenders, can one of them make a run to the near post first
No matter who the manager is starting City are not scoring enough

 

Oh well, we have two good games to get back to winning ways in Wrexham away and then MK Dons at home.

 

Don't think they had a dangerous shot all game. Was funny seeing their players diving around especially the number 7 who got hooked second half.

We were pedestrian at best. Slow throw ins, slow free kicks etc.

Young got a right whack and looked to be in some pain. Another on the treatment table?

 

Nothing wrong with a good defensive display to get a point away from home…….

 

I wonder why Morais has never been a manager? Probably because he talks a good game but knows feck all. A bit like Gary Jones.

 

It made more sense to drop Cook when we had Oliver...

 

I always wonder the same about Gary Neville.

Talks the birds out of the trees when it comes to football but has consistently failed at all his football management and administration jobs.

Lets be honest lately Gary Jones hasn't talked a good game. All he has done is moan and whinge. At least Morais seems to offer constructive comment.

 

We had a squad thrown together at the start of the season which was nowhere near good enough, we still have a squad that is nowhere near good enough. How people can blame GA is beyond me, mistakes were made then and he is simply trying to get a tune out of a poor team.

 

Same GA who said he always plays 2 up front as that's his tactics/attacking style

 

Least we are a point nearer safety thats the only positive to take.

 

This statement makes no sense.

I thought we were solid defensively and Cook looks right off the boil. Young has some pace and early on used it well to give them something to think about and then sadly it all petered out to nothing.
