I honestly don't see what Alexander sees in Johnson not only was he average I don't think his selection helped Halliday's game, Huntington once again a rock at the back when he came on, apart from that great defensive header onto the bar , I'm not sure if Sarcevic can't do two games on the trot or he's carrying a knock but when him and Pattison start we look a far more dangerous side, when Kavanagh came of it looked like he was limping maybe a doubt for the Newport game.

 

Not the best of games but its another game and another win chalked off the board ..............would glady take that for the rest of the season so long as we are out of this league.

Harrogate and now Accrington, poor games from us overall. Getting away with it for now but I fear it'll cost us.

 

The last I heard from Alexander was Richards has a decision to make with regards his shoulder play or have an operation, as it went back as he walked off it shows just how easy it is to pop in and out but being selfish I'd ask him to continue playing as he makes a big difference to our attacking and risk having the operation at the ends of the season, 10 to 12 weeks to recover after an operation ?.

 

Thought it was Shepherd with the near own goal? We were certainly very fortunate to retain the clean sheet either way.
