Kone doesn't even need to go, the temptation to not play him must be great just having those clubs threatening to make an offer... maybe?

Pattison has had an injection to calm down the soreness and swelling around his achilles. Expecting Leigh back to training with the squad today too.

 

Pattison has turned into the glass man….. I am sure he was Harrogate reliable stalwart…,

 

He had issues at all his clubs before Harrogate. He had a knee issue at Boro as a youth that kept him out and then came back and broke his ankle in the pre-season after when he tried breaking into the mens side. Looks like when he was at York he started having a few hamstring issues, looks like he missed some time at Yeovil again with hamstring and ankle issues. He struggled to get near the side at Wycombe, in the 95 possible league games he could have been in (including play offs) he made 26 matchday squads, just 12 starts.

At Harrogate, they smartly used his minutes more than anything. He missed the odd game for them, looks like again that ankle/achilles flared up now and again, odd tight hamstring from match reports. But at Harrogate he had a spell of playing 6 or 7 then missing a game and looks like they sparingly used him in the cups. He still missed 15 L2 games over 2 seasons through rests and injuries, but that might be the way to get the best out of him to be honest.

Big game.. we need to make sure that we are strong at home again this season.

 

If he continues to miss games this season due to injury he will be gone in the summer. Very good player on his day but we need to start moving these sicknotes on. Kelly, Sarcevic and Richards can go if they cant stay fit this term as well. All 4 are out of contract.

 

He's a great talent, but lets face it he wont be cheap and you know you are going to need someone else to cover the 15 games he wont start as well as coming on for him for another 10/15 times a season too. You need a replacement just as good to slot into that role really.

Pattison has had hamstring and ankle issues here which he's had everywhere, then you get unlucky stuff like the appendix he missed a few games with. He's 27 now too, should be into his prime years. Fingers crossed we find a way to get the best out of him and keep him fit. But if he has another in and out year with fitness, i wouldn't be surprised to see him moved on next summer.

 

I’d certainly count a broken ankle as unlucky as was the appendix , however the resulting niggling injuries stemming as a result of say a broken ankle can count over time.

Sounds like Swansea are trying to get Kone from Wycombe. A £5m bid says a reporter for the Guardian.

GA saying Bryne apart we pretty much have a full squad against Wycombe. Obviously Cook and Baldwin will be missing too.

Seems like Kelly, Pattison, Leigh and Wright are avilable then.

 

I will be Surprised if Kelly and Wright are available but if they're then it's good for competition within the squad.
