Can't fault the approach and we look a threat going forwards.

Delightful so far

 

Good half. I’m very pleased with what we’re doing off the ball. We look strong, intense, organised and the shape of the press is good. We look properly ready for the season, which isn’t always the case on day 1. We’ve had purpose and been clinical going forward too. The one area we’re going to need to be better as the season goes on, is the control we have when we do get the ball. Hopefully that will come.

With all that said, this game ain’t over.

 

Good half, we have been stronger than them physically. Need to keep it up second half.

 

Funny isn’t it. I’m watching online while away on holiday and in the first couple of minutes, Jamie Raynor mentioned their keeper being a new signing from Feyenoord, and I think ‘bloody hell, Feyenoord. Shows how much League 1 has moved on and how much catching up we have to do’, and their keeper has been garbage! Give me Sam Walker any day of the week!!

 

We’re going to need that that season. I bet we’re bloody awful to play against - good!! Far too many years we’ve been a soft touch. We’re a side that bases what we do well, on how well we do the ugly stuff. Exactly what a Bradford City team should be based on.

 

Already I like what I see in Power as a Captain. Straight after the second goal he was urging the team to stay switched on, not just clapping his hands. The press is fantastic. If their right winger would concentrate on staying on his feet instead trying to win free kicks all the time they might have an outlet but, so far so good.

 

Wasn’t expecting to be but quite impressed with Tilt so far. Touray also looks decent. Wycombe playing like a Mark Hughes side.

 

Wish we could retain more possession this half.

GA's subs will be important.

 

Bit fortunate in the end, they should have had a penalty for handball.

Very positive in terms of result, effort and work rate. Quality needs to improve though

 

We need to look after the ball better, but 3 points on the board is a great start.
