And yet he wasn't good enough for Walsall at this very same level a couple of years previous so had to drop to the Scottish championship (probably similar to the national League) to get games.

It's a terrible signing and I'll be absolutely proven right if we're unfortunate for him to play enough games. I'm sure he's a nice bloke and all but he's just nowhere near the standard we need.

As the fans of various clubs told us. And similar things being said about a particular prospective manager.

Disagree with you on this. When the initial cross was played in stubbs was marking 20 and Taylor 23. The fault lay with a midfielder letting a man he was marking run into the box un challenged. it was Gilliead who lost his man.

We'll have to agree to disagree then.

The danger absolutely isn't in the right back position where Taylor found himself, he'd been pulled right out when he should just be passing the man on.

We had 6 bodies around the throw in, we didn't need our centre half on the right hand side of the box leaving a huge gap for an opposition player to drift in to.

Stubbs is also to blame as he could see the picture and should have organised better but that is absolutely a terrible goal to concede and the centre backs are both to blame.

It's also ok blaming Gillead but Phillips has come in from the right wing into the space behind the centre forward so if anything you'd say Pointon lost the runner.

In reality though, all Taylor had to do was pass his man onto either Halliday or Smallwood (or one of any of the other 3 in that area) and use his footballing intelligence to realise where the danger was. Once his starting position is better there's a much higher chance that he either blocks or intercepts that knock down.

Lets be honest, that's almost as tenuous as some of the arguments I make...........................

So you find absolutely nothing wrong with how we set up at that throw in and the positioning of our central defenders?

The games Taylor has played like Wrexham,he gave a chance when the Wrexham forward just dribbled passed him in the first half and then the shocker of a performance against Mk dons where all the team were awful but I watched Taylor during the second half and he was doubly awful where he marked No one.I thought his performance against Sutton was Ok but that first goal team defending was awful again and we know who to blame for the second ;)

It might help with some clean sheets to reassure me on Taylor ;)

I find nothing that lays any of the blame on Taylor.

    Just watched the highlights.....

First goal, good shot, but Lewis has to be doing better. Practically straight at him.
Second blatantly Stubbs, but Lewis needs to be louder. BUT WHAT WAS OSADEBE DOING?

Fair enough, it looks like we won't agree so I'll leave the discussion with this one last point.

Andy Cook was nearest to the player crossing the ball meaning we had all 11 players within 30 yards of our goal yet one of our centre halves was barely inside the penalty area as that cross came in.

If you find that an acceptable piece of positioning then I'm astounded.

The goal was scored on the deck from the right hand side of the box. It wasn't even a cross, and it was the second phase so his positioning for the first phase has nothing to do with the actual goal. As for the second, one of our centre halves was on the end of it. Unfortunately he choice to bury past his own keeper.

The first was also a shot pretty much straight at the keeper who should have done better. The second he had no chance with.

Sorry, but you can't pin either on Taylor, no matter how bad he might have been for the rest of the match and/ or his Bradford City career.

It wasn't even a cross and was scored from the right hand side of the box?

Have you even seen the goal or are you just making it up as you go along?

I've seen both. The second was a cross.
