Swindon are higher up the current form table than we are. There is also not much use in parking the bus against us, if we see 4 shots in a game you can consider yourself lucky.

Home and Away joint results, then yes over 4 & 6 games they are higher up the form table than City.

However if you take out Swindon’s Home form, then Away from the County Ground they are exceptionally poor.

So over the last 8 Away games a single win, three draws and four defeats.

If Swindon get a draw, that will probably be an adequate result for them. If they can average 2 points a game, they will be safe from relegation.

Looking at the season, then a draw for Swindon at VP, and a home win for them at the County Ground, would be a reasonable return for them, and a poor one for City.

Looking at the fact that Bradford are the only senior side to lose at Morecambe this season in any competition suggest if Swindon are going to correct that away record, Valley Parade is a good place to start.

Decades of watching City suggest a 0-1 tomorrow !

Well l hope they go for it and leave opportunities to get shots away. It is a gamble. If they lose tomorrow and either Carlisle or Morecambe win, they will be back in the drop zone. It would eat into any confidence after their win last week. We seem to be going round in circles. Which city will turn up on Saturday. You quoted the combined Home and Away.

I think we need to factor that City are at home!

I posted the away form, which showed how dire Swindon are (as are City away from VP). Perhaps Saturday’s fixture needs a little balance?

City are fourth……yes I will repeat that, fourth in the Home form table. Bizarrely if that were replicated away from VP, City would be knocking on the door of the Automatics!

    Roll on kick off time.

If a match between 11th and 22nd in the arse end of league football doesn’t get the juices flowing then you shouldn’t be watching football.

Apparently no injury worries ahead of today's game so if that's the case, I'd go with the same starting line up as Tuesday night bar the two Walkers coming in for Doyle and Pattison. Play well, keep the shirt. I know some will argue Halliday didn't play well on Tuesday but he's had a stop start season so far and has been asked to play out of position on a number of occasions. He was much better in the second half on Tuesday and given Benn's form has dropped off recently, I'd be sticking with him this afternoon.

Can’t agree re Halliday / Benn at all . Halliday’s confidence is shot at the moment . Benn will get the place. Otherwise yes same as , as you suggest . At best Halliday will be on the seats .

After some serious attacks yesterday morning across Ukraine (some of the biggest attacks on infrastructure since the war began), everything is back to feeling normal today and a City league win would be nice…

I saw another poster talking about how suddenly they’re excited again for our games after recent performances where we’ve actually looked like a team and attacked sides and I feel the same.

The energy and excitement is back for today. How long it lasts, time will tell

Halliday is washed. I’d get rid at the end of the season

The biggest disappointment for me is no Pattison today.
Last weeks goal and the good chance he fluffed on Tuesday were a little glimpse of what we thought we were getting when he signed.

Whether you think it was right or wrong to send him off,his loss of control at Crewe will come back to bite him on the arse as he sits 3 games out.

We just don’t have anybody else who runs past the attackers like he did last week and Tuesday.

100%. He is our best midfielder and seems to make the players around him have a bit more of a buzz with energy to press. I’d like to see Pattison, Evans and Sarcevic as our midfield when all are fit

Byrne is suspended I think so more like huntington at centre half , with swindon having harry smith up front it would make sense

Huntington's a better player anyway, I'd pick him even if Byrne wasn't suspended.
