We had sky TV and Match of the day though.

Although I agree, we wouldn't sell out every home games in the PL but I'm not sure if it's a sell out or not is actually the point here.

    In relation to what?
Still have my old books in the loft somewhere, even the plastic BCFC covers
I can’t for the life in me remember what they cost me , son and daughter in the two years 1999-20

    Any ideas?

I'm going to stay home and watch it on iFollow. The club still get money out of me whereas a few years ago with no live streaming they'd simply miss out.
The only reason I'm not going is the weather.

I believe the cost was over £300 and I’m sure some areas were nearly £400 like middle blocks of Sunwin. 23 years later we are paying half that.
    Inflation? What inflation?

Exactly this. What the hell has it got to do with anyone else what you choose to do? That's right sweet f all.

You seem to suggest that the number of fans makes no difference to the number of points a team gets. So does it really matter if a number want to stay at home and watch the game on i-follow, either tonight or on a Saturday?

Well it kinda does. More fans mean more money means a better squad and more points

Wrong, if a season ticket holder pays to watch on iFollow then they have in fact paid twice.

Which means more money than a season ticket holder attending.

    Yep.

On the other hand, if somebody consistently struggled to be available at 3pm on a Saturday, getting a season ticket probably isn't the right choice for them in practical terms (although they may buy one to save a specific seat, or something).

Tuesdays are more scarce, and people have responsibilities outside of work.

Nonetheless, I'll be there tonight. There's only usually one of us missing for Tuesday nights from our family, but sometimes it's two.

The big majority have season tickets and on occasions like tonight will pay £10 to watch on I follow so in effect many are paying twice so the club benefit

We’ve had more fans than any team in this league for the last 4 seasons
But we’re still stuck in the kazi league, so the number of fans has no bearing on the team

Without the option of watching on tv I would probably have braved the weather tonight but as age creeps up it’s a good thing really

A lad like you in your early 20's should be bang up for this one, Park!

Perhaps he doesn't like the lad on the switchboard and wants him to field 17,000 phone calls asking if the game is on instead of one member of the admin staff sending out a twitter post that will take 30 seconds
