Great game of football very similar to the Hartlepool game but with the all important winner. Have to say I’ve enjoyed the last 3 home matches.

 

Well done City. Like others, I feared a draw at absolute best at half time. Derbyshire making a real impact coming off the bench - well done to him.

 

Well they made us sweat. First 15/20 was really good. After that poor defending allowed them back into it. We just went to pieces.Half time I thought we had blown it.

 

Ha ha that it did @Kevin1954 , indeed a funny old game.
However the game was changed because of Darbyshire and FINALLY having another outlet at the top of the pitch, rather than Cook alone. In turn brought Walker back into the game who was better second half, but still not of the level he is capable of (which is without doubt, one of the most talented in this league).

For what it’s worth, think you’ll be happy at Crawley Kevin, cause I doubt Chapman will start.

 

Agree no place for that , a section of our fanbase still make me cringe .

Well played the second half and will keep an eye out for your results ,hopefully you make it up and then you wont see me back here next season for the fixtures !

Ref and linesman on midland road side were atrocious. How they get away with performances like that week in week out is beyond me

Some of you (usual suspects) need to take a hard look in the mirror and question if you really are a Bradford City supporter, give your heads a shake, the game is 90 minutes not 45.
What a great game of football, started well goal in front and looking very positive going forward, we go 2 - 1 down before half time but still try to play our football.
Chapman was not having the best of games and was rightly subbed bringing Derbyshire on (the man is a class act) Walker makes it 2 - 2 game on, Derbyshire finds Cook with a great ball the rest is history another far from easy finish from Cook.

The team had goals written all over today. Some team is going to get a thrashing soon. "Bring On The Champions" has a nice ring to it.

Great to see we went a bit more direct today.

Some good performances from Halliday, Banks, Walker, Gilliead, Cook and Derbyshire today.

I think we need to bring back Crichlow to the starting line up, he oozes calmness and we need that for the final run-in.

Hats off to Derbyshire, he was excellent when he came on and changed that game. His experience and know how certainly showed and was a great foil for Cook

I saw this as well.
He actually signaled for Halliday to slow the play down only 10 mins into the second half.

 

Walker isn’t fit and hardly has been since coming back from injury, signs were there but injured again too early. Don’t get me going about Chappy. Tiny little cameos for about 5 seconds and the game passed him by.
