I'm thinking of popping over for that game. Do you think I can get tickets on the gate, or do I have to find someone to nbuy for me? Same for Reading - big stadium - do you think I can get on the gate, or do I need to write to the club saying I'm coming from overseas and will be visiting my old man (10 miles from Reading) and would like to see City.

 

There’s a Baldwin joke in there somewhere but I’ll leave it to those that are better at it than me.

 

It wasn't as bad when the ads had a dark background, but the one with a bit of text on an all white background made it impossible to see the ball from our angle in E block main stand. And as an aside......I couldn't tell you who the advertiser was or what they were advertising.

 

Might just be me but as a meme it doesn't make much sense.

Slight observation regarding McCracken. I was sat in the upper kop last night and noticed how poor his distribution was. Quite a few times it went straight out or straight to their player. I noticed this on Saturday too. A bit of work to do with Doyle I think. Other than that his overall performance was excellent.

 

Not sure about that, yes it did go wrong a couple of times but I think his distribution is one of the best part of the game. There was one occasion he split their defence with a low ball to the left can’t remember if it was Touray or swan were free on goal. He gets on with it quickly as well more than impressed with him so far. Hasnt been tested with an Ariel bombardment yet though

 

Have to disagree there, thought there was a noticeable improvement last night...

 

I've been able to get tickets for odd away games through my season ticket holding cousin but there are no guarantees if it's a small away following. I have thought about trying to go directly to the club about being overseas but have never done it (well, did it once when Lawn offered to buy a pint on Sky - and he was true to his word). I have a feeling they'd be helpful. They usually try to sort things out for fans.

 

Can't remember the time we had a GK apart from a great shot stopper comes out quickly and can distribute a ball nearly has far as the opposition area.

Not bashing Sam Walker but McCracken is definitely an upgrade

 

Been talking to Burnley fans this morning they seem to thing we are going places and they could soon be swapping divisions. They were impressed with how we set up and the atmosphere created by the fans.

 

4 brilliant penalties last night and super John Mc top save. Pennington was superb and Gilly not far behind, Welch grew into the game. Key again were the changes we are now able to make, we need to remember Powell (who is one hell of a player) is massively helped by the shift Beesley has already put in.
Great scenes at the end and well done to the Club for enabling such a fantastic crowd for a Round 2 match

 

I just remember at least 4 times where it went awry, but definitely impressed with him so far.

 

Im in upper Kop and it was absolutely dreadful, it needs sorting ASAP. Its not so bad when its dark colours but when it kept flashing white you couldnt see the ball or the Burnley players - completely missed that goal mouth scramble at the end of first half.

 

TV Cameras wouldn't capture if down Midland Road side.
