I'm surprised we've done this. We've given them 112 tickets more tickets in Midland Road which I can't see why we didn't give them in the first place. The remaining 976 are in the TL Dallas top tier and that will hardly bring any extra revenue once the costs of opening the stand have been taken away plus we only get 45% of the revenue.

Only way it can make sense to me to give them the top tier of the TL Dallas is if we're getting something in return such as a loan player and doing this has got the deal over the line. Any other reason just seems to be taking away a bit of the home advantage in return for very little.

 

Hopefully we can stay in the same division as town and reignite some sort of rivalry with them, support for Town seems to turn as you get towards Scholes and past. A couple of decent rucks with them in the 90s.

 

Still think it's more than there ..........them winkers think its one way but the way the nobs carried on at the Accu says different

 

Sod it give them the whole stand if City fans can't be arsed at a fiver then make it elsewhere

 

Get what your saying but surly NON season tickets holders would be all over it considering price etc and the fact its so cheap

 

It's a league cup game against a championship side. Not really a massive draw despite.it being a fiver. Anything approaching 18,000 is a decent effort

 

Burnley have sold out their extra allocation.

 

Apparently they sold out in under 20 minutes must be desperate to see Bradford City putting on a show.

I am flying back from Greece in September, right in the middle of my holidays, just to be at VP "NOT"
Our mid week league attendances show that many cant or don't want to trawl down to VP on an evening
What do people think the crowd against Cambridge will be a week tomorrow

 

18k given out of the scoreboard but probably 14k on the night

 

They've only sold about half of the upper tier, tickets are only added a block at a time and they've still got about a third of the middle block left with blocks J and K still to go on sale

 

You would have thought for a fiver it would be close to sell out. I think Burnley is a tasty tie for us

According to my Burnley fan workmate-there is no one in their squad (not currently in transfer talks) that would cut the mustard at all. They are very despondent about the season indeed. They went to WBA at the weekend and the away end was very caustic at the final whistle. Very disjointed team and a club in a lot of debt. They think that survival this season will be a good outcome.

 

Seeing as we can't sell them we have sent Burnley another 1076 tickets...

 

So Burnley is apparently a 'tasty' tie and the tickets are a fiver but it's some way off a sell out despite Burnley selling approx 5,000. Make your mind up.

 

BD8 isn't somewhat accomodating for a night fixture. Not exactly the nicest area during the day but at night it's like the land of the living dead.

 

Just over 17,800 sold. Burnley still have about 450 left to go on sale or unsold. More than 2,000 past the total for the Middlesbrough match 3 years ago which was also £5 tickets.
