Happy days. Had to happen. We need someone who can get in quickly, organise and motivate. Theres enough in this squad to get results. Hope to god we manage to get Warnock but cant see it sadly

 

Yes I'd like Nathan Jones as well if Warnock isn't interested. Did well at Luton but went wrong at Stoke.

Strange situation for the new players in training today. They will never actually get to play for the manager who has signed them!

 

Some would call it a blessing.

Yeah look Bowyer did do some good stuff let's not forget this.

What he did for Darby and how he helped getting the Liverpool game on etc was totally amazing!

It just didn't work out for him here and I think talking about Blackpool offen when he joined didn't help but hopefully he will get another job and be back in football.

I think he's young enough to be thinking about a director of football role(not at Bradford though)

No credit from me. The next manager will be baba in Fordy's eyes just like all the others. There's no skill in that because as we all know every manager goes in the end. I'll give Fordy credit when he names someone that's realistically a candidate for the job. He won't do that of course because if he does and he gets the job he won't be able to slag him everyday. Let's face it that's the only thing that interests him.

 

And they'll soon realise they ain't anybody in centre midfield to break up play, put their foot through the ball, do the dirty stuff. Achilles heel for the new boss.

 

At a guess, I think we'll get McCall back until May. That'll be the limit of our thinking.

What about Gary Jones? He'd get this lot playing for the shirt. He's also been doing the commentary so he's seen enough of them on the pitch to know and understand their capabilities, limitations and frustrations with the way we've been set up to play

Fail to see what Kewell or Nolan would bring to the table, Nathan Jones a very good shout, Tisdale a possibility, Warnock a good stop gap until the end of the season if we can't get these 2.

 

Unfortunately he's said he's not interested in management etc and happy doing what he's doing.
