Yes surprisingly they were a couple of places below us in that form table. We've heard a lot of comments around us taking mediocre form into the play offs but we're not the only ones!
I do think on paper, they have the strongest squad but they will rightly be wary of us as well.
For me, it's all about ensuring we are still in the tie after the first leg. Ideally level or ahead, but at worst just a goal down.

 

Stockport are inconsistent . It truly could be anyone of the four.

Over the last 6 games of the season, Stevenage are in the best form out of the 4 of us, picking up 11 points. Stockport follow with 10 then it's us with 9 and Bolton with 6.
Stevenage also top the 'mini league' of 4, taking 11 points off the rest of us, with city picking up 9, Bolton 7 and Stockport 4.

Stockport have picked up a total of 0 points from us and Stevanage over the course of the season so I think we all know how this is going to end!

I think you grasped my analogy just fine. However, rewarding ST with first choice is good for business in my view. It could also be good for business allowing occasional supporters prime seats whereby they might decide to become a ST holder. I notice there is a deal on for 24 hrs today.

Timings of games in the playoffs is always fraught with differences in ppl circumstances. My preference is always 3pm.

My family will be there scattered throughout VP it is just myself who is not attending. Of course I will enjoy the game on TV but it isn’t like attending the game.

Its all about who performs on the day obviously, but Stevenage as we know are a very limited team, and either us or Bolton should have too much for them on the big Wembley pitch. I also think we have the edge over Stockport (especially if Sarce is fit) but would be slightly less confident.
Anyway its going to be a roller coaster. Bring it on!!

 

The other half states strongly that they have only won games by a scrappy 1-0. Saturday’s goal is questionable. Plus they have the lowest goal difference. Plenty of expletives

 

I haven’t had the confirmation email for the away tie. Bought at the ticket office at lunchtime. Should I be worried?
