Bolton Tickets

No mate, seriously as those who've sat near me at games know I become part of the game it gets interesting at time, there was a guy at Chesterfield who was talking crap I soon sorted him out .

I'm really surprised @Rogered Tart hasn't passed comment on my highlighted it was quite comical at the time, every one sat around us had their pop corn at the ready, but he backed off .

 

Why on earth not? I've tried other seats and the same message comes up. So I'm effectively being denied the opportunity to buy a ticket anywhere. Brilliant.

 

That's my interpretation of unreserved if I'm wrong fine but thats how I see it I'm probably wrong but to be honest I couldn't give a flying I'll still sit with my family.

 

What will you do if someone is already sat there?

 

Whilst it’s no great hassle to change seats wouldn’t it have been better to keep arrangements the same without upsetting some midland roaders and others who didn’t want to change seats. And it would have so simple foe season ticket holders to log in any time over two or three days to claim their ticket

I stand corrected I will sit in the seat purchased.

 

Well, finally got a random seat after a nightmare hour and a half. I appreciate that many have had a simple, smooth experience but mine was anything but. It seemed to think that I'd set some filters but I hadn't. And now it seems Bolton are getting less than they did a couple of weeks ago. Why not just let them have what they had then, give season ticket holders 48 hours to buy their usual ticket then put the rest on general sale?
I'd love to hear why that couldn't be done.

 

It would also have been nice if the club told us why it was necessary to do what they've done, when less than a fortnight ago they accommodated everyone who wanted to attend, some times PR at the club is poor.

 

Anyone’s sat in my seat on the night they’ll be

a) reported to a steward
b) dragged out by me if steward does nothing

the club worded it badly but they are not unreserved seats. What they meant to say was ST holders don’t have a window when they are guaranteed their seat.

For what its worth, there’s nothing special about my seat and I couldn’t really give a frig if I had to sit a block to the side or several rows up or down, but if I did so I’d be causing a problem for someone else, moving into their ticketed seat….so the club can’t let a free for all happen.

you get plenty of such pricks away from home who sit where they want. Thankfully I rarely go away so it doesn’t matter.

 

I have to admit I found the old ticketing site easier than this, luckily the grandson sorts the ticketing out now, maybe its an age thing .

I've got mine now. I was not seeing any way to confirm chosen seats and being confused by auto options down the left but then noticed my 5 items in the basket that had scrolled off screen. All was fine after I spotted that - just lack of familiarity. But there'll be many trying to book that lack familiarity ...

Got basically the usual seats for my closer group but that area has all been snapped up now so others in my larger group will end up elsewhere.

I do wonder why we could not have just extended the arrangements for the League game and avoided several calls and texts to friends and family to sort out how to approach this. It would have been much less time consuming for someone tasked with trying to organise a larger group. Anyway, happy my job is done now. Good luck to others.

 

I think that probably confirms the rationale for the home leg arrangements. A bit of tit for tat going on with regards to reducing their numbers

 

If anyone gets an error message about using a VPN etc just turn your wifi off and use your data (if browsing on mobile)…..i got around the error that way - wasn’t even using a VPN at the time but hey ho!

 

Same thing happened to me.

 

£1.50 booking fee per ticket a ripoff too when its digital delivery. But sadly par for the course with the likes of ticketmaster

 

What made it difficult is having to select seats one at a time then assign a category to it. Why can’t you just select all the seats you want then assign a category ?
