For Reading there wasn't segregation in Midland Road so that will have opened up around 200-300 extra seats. Huddersfield also did have from from 2 or 3 rows of the Kop open so that takes away around 200 extra, there's also a section in the bottom of the TL Dallas by the tunnel that has never been replaced since seats were removed.

    Not everyone. Just a minority.

And yeh, we only sell out once or twice a season. So there are plenty of seats available for extra away followings.

Its the last home game, against Bolton, amd we are 3rd. Its 1 of 2 games for 25/26. This wasnt the flex you thought it was.

Totally agree. Although we lost 56 supporters, many more were physically and mentally scarred. The intention is good but the reference for me is crass and almost populist.

As far as I am aware the club hasn’t started to sell the currently covered rows at the front of the Kop, or Block A in the Main Stand. So there are probably another 300 in the Kop and 450 in Block A. The fixture against Bolton is far from sold out at the moment.

Only one or twice eh? Same amount as the away fans have sold out then and by some amazing coincidence they're always the same games.

    Who'd have thought it.

My recollection was that the Milwall game, reduced the potential number of families wanting to go given their reputation. Given some of the incidents outside the stadium, then some families made the right decision. Not sure why it all kicked off, as City aren’t one of their ‘localish’ (everyone else within the South East of the country in particular north of the river) rivals.
I would think we could easily take 30,000, but I know a few who already have holidays etc booked for the late bank holiday.
The tip is never to book anything too early. We plan to visit family in London that weekend whatever the situation.

I was quoting this game, the future will look after it's self, if we were to get promoted depending on our situation ie struggling and getting spanked then I'd expect the crowds would drop off that's human nature only the die hards attending.
Midweek games have always been lower attendances certainly as long as I've watch City, which you'd expect. fans working, kids at school the following morning, many more traveling distance to attend.
Not sure the Premier attendances are really relevant. yes we were playing massive clubs but our success was gained in less that the 5 years Richmond promised us, the cheap tickets started in 2007 and even though we have had bad times during that period we have seem a massive rise in families and we are seeing more and more of the Asian fans attending, at away games it very noticeable.
I'd think we'll see a full house announced whatever that is but my original comment was with regards this one game against Stevenage.

There was also 24,343 against Liverpool in 2019.

Also, the attendance against Fleetwood, last season, was 24,033 including 420 away fans, with segregation, so how many more could have fitted into those empty seats for that match?
Whatever the full total with every seat sold is, there will, for the Bolton match, at the very least, be a segregation gap in the Midland Road so, based on the Fleetwood match, but a full away end (Fleetwood didn't fill their block by about 200), I'd say that the the maximum possible for Bolton will be around 24,250. Maybe a few extra if they are allowed to narrow that segregation gap a bit more.

I'm sorry if my comment upset you, as a fan who was there that tragic day I can assure you the last home game of the season I get as emotional as any fan who attended that game.
I can also assure you if you speak to fellow fans who know me away from this forum they will tell you about my feeling with regards the hoodies etc, I find them distasteful and would never think of wearing one.
With regards the hoodies etc I spoke with the company who were asked to produce the first batch, and he told me he would not produce any until the club cleared it with him, he also donated a % of the sales to the BBU.
So once again I can only apologise for any distress it caused.

Barnsley, Bolton and Huddersfield isnt twice. Try harder.

When we go up there will be far more demand for away fans

Actually Town brought 2799 and Barnsley only brought 2768 so plenty of room to move that cordon when we fancy and get the extra 30 home fans in.

Good to see the club feel they need to proactively increase the home spaces

I wonder what the club are thinking in preparation for the inevitable pitch invasion at the end of the Bolton game.
It happens every year and so I cannot see them selling the front rows of the kop (not that this will stop it).
My minds slips back a few years to the disgraceful goading of away fans at the end who had impeccably observed the
remembrance, it even happened last season against Fleetwood, some clowns just cannot help themselves.
How this will play out with a full contingent of Bolton fans I shudder to think.

So far every last home game I've attended has been exemplary I'm hoping the Bolton fans are as respectful as other clubs fans who been our opposition on our last home game, but your correct will the younger end contain themselves, certainly not running over to the away fans no matter what the out come is.

It’s 15 years since the disgusting goading of the Northampton fans that you refer to, hopefully those involved have grown up and matured since.

The only the time I remember was when a few Carlisle fans let themselves down. It never helps when home fans try and shout then down though, it just makes the situation worse.

Other than last season the only pitch invasion I can remember is Wimbledon fans when they stayed up the year we got relegated. Thankfully the days of what seemed to be a annual event of doing it at the end of the season have long gone since the Northampton which I think you mean which was back in 2010. https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/8297800.bradford-city-has-taken-action-against-40-so-called-fans-after-yobs-marred-the-25th-anniversary-of-the-valley-parade-fire-disaster-by-invading-the-pitch/

What is very strange about the Fleetwood game is that we seem to have got away without a fine as nothing has been said online and there is no mention of it on the FA website where they show the charges and fines. If we have avoided a fine I've got no idea how we have avoided it especially when there was accusations of Fleetwood players being confronted.
