I think he is ok in a traditional 4-4-2 at this level, playing hoof, but the three CB set up we used this year didn't suit him as he wasn’t good on the ball.

His height and strength were his asset but he was reckless in the tackle and dived in (or, as Kiwomya bizarrely likes to say of players, “dove”) too often. Always felt he was an unpredictable danger in that respect.

It ended badly when he walked off pitch, subbed early, and i’m happy he has gone to free up a wage.

But good luck to him. He tried, for the best part. Just don’t think he was what we needed.

 

I would go with gross misconduct -impersonating a footballer.

 

There's been too many masquerading as footballers in our recent history

I noticed that as well, pretty poorly written statement to be fair. Anyway, best for all concerned that he's gone.

 

I wish BRE well. He certainly tried unlike some who have worn the shirt. His confidence seemed to go and wasn’t going to take us forwards. Somebody somewhere else may get a tune out of him.

 

He was shot to bits by the end, why McCall stuck with him in a three will always remain a mystery.

Ever since his car carry on like a big time charlie and then turning it into a rasist thing too he's gone from bad to worst.

Hopefully he can become a half decent player again at Halifax

Right decision.

Nothing against the lad at all and I do think he will do alright at another club at this level but its not worked out here.
Started last season very well and was in the lg2 team of the month a couple of times I think but as time wore on his limitations were more exposed. Always prone to a rash challenge and is clumsy.
McCall did him absolutely no favours whatsoever. Playing as a LCB in a back 3 (which ended up as a LW role at times) and then playing him up front destroyed the remaining confidence the bloke had.
He's a big, strong, clumsy, no-nonsense defender but I do think he'd do well in the right team.
