Just a quick one from me. Fair result on the balance of play. I’d have taken 7 points from 9 if offered it before Christmas. It’s a point after the blow of losing Cook early doors. Some of the football in the first half was fantastic but disappointed we didn’t put them to bed in the first half. But I have to say if I take a step back I’m relatively pleased in the grand scheme of things. A win against Grimsby and it will have been a great 4 game spell.

Because at times he's shown the ability that he was loaned here for, unfortunately not often enough or to any sort of consistency, we can wait to develop him here if our goal is promotion.

He was holding his head a lot in despair or pain or both, like this job is properly stuffed.

I don't disagree but we scored twice today and that should have been enough when you evaluate the game as a whole. Yet again poor defending has crippled us.

What has asking for a million pounds for each supporter come from? I don't think my comment is unreasonable. Some people on here don't half speak half speak bull sh*t. Dont you Banbrotam?

If it's an ACL, that might be Cook done career wise at his age. ACLs are about a year for lads in their 20s. Corry Evans ACL tear ended up being over a year and a half away didn't it when he did it at 31/32. Cooks now 34, how many have had that injury and come back after 35+ and still had a good run? Probably won't be many.

He’s gone backwards for me Dave, bright to start with and I said so at the time, then he was absent for a while ( dropped?) and since returning he’s been an abject disappointment .

He walked off without limping you aren’t doing that with an ACL

I have to say I fully agree with this if it is a ligament tear. All we can do now is wait and hope it is good news for Cookie on that front. Fingers crossed.

I’ll apologise on here, but no chance he has. He walked off and sat on the bench for the rest of the half. Cook knows his own body and that’s probably why he was just so livid in his reaction that he knew he would miss a game or two. Most likely just a tweak. He’d have been straight to hospital with his ACL.

I didn't think he did either, just playing the scenario from the previous post.

All a guessing game at this point.

I ruptured my ACL playing 5 aside and it wasn't too bad a pain! although instantly thought it was something bad, I tried to play on and run it off but realised I couldn't.
Went to work the next day thinking it was just twisted or something but I could definitely walk fine and carry out my daily jobs at work. Pain after surgery was much worse then the pain after the injury

Hopefully it's nothing too bad, but knees are just a nightmare if there's an issue. See it fairly often in the NFL lately (which is going to be a nightmare for the world cup on the daft pitches they use). But players go down, hobble off or sit on the side to test out pains and they have ligament issues or tears.

My team the Vikings, their young QB in pre-season had soreness in his knee. Walked off, sat out the game and said it feels fine but sore.... turned out he had complete torn his meniscus, but maybe the adrenaline made it not feel too bad at first. Surgery the next day and has missed a full year from something that he could still walk off the field from. Knees are just a potential minefield.

Fingers crossed for Cook; obviously he's crucial to any promotion challenge we might make, If he's going to be out for any length of time, we really need a replacement ASAP.

    SKOL Vikings!

I was holding my head in pain and despair when I saw Baldwin give that penalty away ! He has been out all season injured and we haven’t seen him play but I would prefer to see Callum Johnson on the right side of a back 3 rather than Baldwin.
We were in complete control until the penalty , then it gave Barrow a new impetus to attack. 2 points thrown away.

In your opinion, is there a particular weak link?:)

That has cheered me up no end. GA sounded gloomy albeit putting a positive spin on it. No point in worrying until we know what has happened.
