Agree entirely Kev, for me Baldwin has cost us two points there, absolutely stupid.

I think 7 points from chesterfield, Port Vale & Barrow away is a good return, yes I'm happy with that.

Based on absolutely nothing concrete but Cook’s reaction when he initially went down fills me with dread.
Players know their own bodies and he genuinely looked like he knew it was serious.
I hope I’m very very wrong but it looked worrying.

LOL!! Why don't you just ask for a million pounds to each supporter as well.

We need a decent striker or two if Cook's out - because if we had one, we'd have been two or three up at half time and then defensive errors are less likely.

We've more than enough CB's who have shown themselves to be capable are conceding no more than a goal a game. No need to panic because we concede 7 seven in 4 matches.

And if case you haven't noticed, League 2 keepers are always prone to an error. Bass at Notts County, who's touted now as one of the best, is a great example. Frankly, Waker's been our most consistent keeper since the days of Doyle in his first stint. Before you mention Lewis - some of us pointed out the errors he started making from this point forward two years ago.

So I ain't interested in us wasting money on panic buys, just to make you lot love Rupp and Sparks. I'll trust the footie decision makers who have promotions on their CV's to make the correct decisions.

Remember when Baldwin and Byrne signed " They are winners " They certainly are as they won new contracts when their former clubs were pleased to get rid.

    Hmm.

The correct decisions like "We don't need a back up goalkeeper" and "We seem to have cover for Cook if he gets injured"?

I mean those two are kinda glaring, really. Even with rose-tinted's on, that's gonna burn the retinas.

Not the first bollock I've dropped today mate, blaming poor old Alex Pattison for giving the pen away, nothing a few sherbets wont cure tonight.

After losing Andy Cook so early in the game, I feared we would be lucky to get anything from the game. It’s bloody ridiculous we are so reliant upon him
Hopefully we now go out and bring in genuine competition Oliver and Sanderson are not the answer, not even sure what the question is with those two.
Huntington has to be kept, steadying influence.
Also when was the last time we were awarded a penalty, I can only think of Grimsby in the cup.
Saturday’s game is massive, let’s fill the ground a shout the boy’s home.
    We definitely owe them one.

Just let me get in my time machine and talk to the radiologist after the scan, and then liaise with the physio team, get back in the time machine and I'll let you know. Should take about 30 mins - see you soon?

I think the first time he went down he realised if he wasn't available for the Grimsby game Oliver was champing at the bit in training ready for the call from is number one fan.

Yes. That's why I said we need one of two strikers.

There's a world of difference between getting back up keeper, which I don't disagree with and having someone challenging Walker. Obviously, if an opportunity presents itself then get one in. But it is low priority even compared to cover or better at LWB

Point in case, those football decision makers made the decision not to bother in the Summer.

We are incredibly lucky (perhaps) that Cook is injured on the day the new window opens. What if that had happened in September/October?

All I'm saying is, let's not blindly put all faith in these guys to get it right when we can clearly see they've got some things wrong already.

What's important is they petition Rupp for some investment because we have just hit an emergency. No ifs, buts or maybes, this is make or break for the season - this is hand in pocket time and no mistake.

The scoring contributions from others has increased, which is some crumb of comfort if Cooky is out.

Not from the other strikers of course ;)

    I don't disagree.

We were playing some decent stuff in the first half and be that comfortable, as we were, after Cook had gone off was impressive. To give a way a goal in such a way was an absolute killer.

Again, for the second goal, Sarcevic must have sensed the danger as they broke but he let their player go. He should have taken him out.

It's a game we could have won without the errors.

Just imagine our poor neighbours down the road, having once again dominated play thought they'd made the break through getting their usual late winner in the 88th minute only for Blackburn to equalize in the 90th such a shame.

Agree. However, I don't think they need to petition Rupp. Sharpe would not be here, if his hands were getting tied - why would when he could have a nice time counting his money from his Wigan days.

    We'll see what happens

Has Alexander said anything about an initial assessment of Cooks injury?
