The only good news with Cook likely to be out for a few matches - is that's it's occured at a perfect time. Sanderson showing, what we all knew that he is rubbish - means that a striker now simply has to be brought in.

 

Its easy to blame him but what about Pattison, Walker, Smallwood, Kavanagh, all with time around the penalty area and doing nothing. Just passing the ball to someone else because they can't take responsibility.

We have a lot of attacking players that our fans would describe as "good" but they have zero impact on the opposition's goal. Even Bobby has dropped off this half.

 

For me Byrne just isn’t the commanding CB needed at this level, whereas Huntington has showed he can lead a defensive line. When you compare a Huntington and Halliday’s decision making versus Baldwin and Byrne, there’s no competition. If Baldwin is to be our starting RCB, then he needs Huntington and Halliday either side of him IMO.
