Why what's happening Wednesday ?.

 

All of those games (Barrow, Hartlepool, Harrogate and Salford) are early in the season. So if we are on a promotion run tickets shouldn't be too difficult to get to places like Rochdale and Swindon where big away followings can fit in.

 

As with Bury in the FA Cup several years ago if they want thd brass there are ways around it.

 

Looking at our fixtures after Christmas and you will see.

Carlisle - 2k
Stockport - a few thousand
AFC Wimbledon over 400 mile round trip
Walsall - a few thousand
Stevenage around 400 mile round trip
Doncaster - over 3k
Newport over 400 mile round trip
Crewe - a few thousand
Crawley over 400 mile round trip
Rochdale - over 3k
Swindon - behind the goal if needed, over 400 mile round trip
Northampton - 1.5k

I'd be surprised if it becomes difficult to get tickets for any of those bar Northampton. Some will sell out but you should have a crack at tickets. This loyalty scheme is front of the season heavy due to getting the tinpot teams out the way.

 

In normal circumstances I agree but during a season of success it’s very likely we’d need 3000 tickets for most games and towards the end of the season in key games I’d say possibly more.
Do you remember is taking 7000 to Hull in 1996 where we took over their home end?

 

Yes lets say the Hull fans weren't amused.

As I say clubs could accomadate more if they wanted the money after consulting with the police.

 

Best way to sort this problem lack of tickets etc is to get out of this league

 

Will the ground be packed to the rafters with fans proving their loyalty when we play Hull

That's changed today. Was going to be 23 and fine yesterday. Big black clouds on BBC weather now.

 

Here's an idea. We give 100 extra loyalty points for all early round Carabo and jackmeoff Cup matches ?

That’s not 100% accurate as when we were in the PL there was never enough tickets.

 

There were plenty of tickets - we didn’t sell out at Southampton, Villa, Chelsea, Wimbledon - even Sunderland when we stayed up, there were about 500 of us there I reckon.
I didn’t miss out on a single ticket and there was no priority then, just a case of who wanted them most.

 

Tickets are on sale to the next band tomorrow morning

Anyone can have twitter if you've got the internet. The world's moved on.

 

I’ve got it and to be fair, I think it’s shite. Not a fan, so pay little attention. Just my personal opinion.
Appreciate its huge, but it shouldn’t be too difficult to keep Twitter, Facebook and internet formats all updated.
