Horrible watch second half, but remained solid and deserved the win, can’t remember ROD having to make a real save of note. Things look a lot more comfortable than a week ago but still need reinforcements that will improve the starting 11.

 

Don't think Stuart ever managed three did he ?

 

Guthrie did play OK ish however, one swallow doesn't make a summer.
Everything taken into account, he needs replacing he is too unreliable IMO.

 

It's impressive that the last three games we've hardly given the opposition a sniff.

We look much better organised and are starting to play as a team and know where each other are on the pitch.

We do rely on the starting 11 doing well though because there isn't a lot on the bench that seems able to come on an make an impact at the moment.

But as others have said, the last three games have been so much better than recent years that I'm not going to split hairs just now! Let's enjoy Christmas on the back 7 points from the last 9! Remarkable!

Donaldinho getting the ball one on one with the right sided CB and turning back to play infield shows his legs have gone and needs replacing asap. Guthrie has not scored in a year now. Good stats for a CF?

How citrusy is it though? Skeptical of the citrus ones. Can be overpowering at times.

Donaldson did what he could when he came on. He ran around as quick as he could and harassed them. Had enough pace to carry the ball up the pitch. At least he didn't fall down as much as Guthrie. Swear that lad ends up on the floor every time the wind direction changes.

 

It is a really tough decision now and probably not one Ryan was anticipating just over a week ago. My own gut feeling is we have to stick to our guns and go with whoever the CEO thinks is right for the job after the interview process, not just for now, but to have the knowledge and positivity to make the changes that STILL have to happen in January and then complete the overhaul in the summer. Well done to the players for finally showing some resolve and hopefully some of them are now showing they could have a real future at the club, but to make some lasting progress we still have to improve in so many key areas
