Even with a good performance from the keeper, we still conceded and narrowly won.

Just back home. One of the most fortunate wins I've ever seen us get that, absolute daylight robbery how Walsall haven't got anything from the game.

We set up for a smash and grab type performance from minute one which I would understand if we were away to Forest Green but I'm scratching my head as to why we approach a game against 17th placed Walsall so negatively.

Result papers over some massive cracks but it was nice to enjoy a late winner which doesn’t happen too often.

Earlier in the season you went to extreme lengths to say all those draws were good points and points gained. You never or rarely criticised or said we should have won games that we drew. So you can't come around now and say we should have won some of those games. You'll probably respond with some nonsense but I'm still calling you out on your inconsistent bollocks.

We've won one game all season where we've kept a clean sheet. We've drawn four. We need to start banging more in at the other end if we want to win more games, simple as.

Apart from that wonder cross at Vale, in that match he didn't look 100% comfortable at rb.

 

Only positives was the win and the keeper at this stage sadly we are into the results far outweigh the performances .............. seriously we look so disjointed so off the pace it really is very poor be amazed if we get into the top 7 unless we do bring a few new faces in

Nor the 30 odd minutes he got at Carlisle. He didn't even look remotely a footballer that day, almost like he had boots on wrong feet. One clearance from the right edge of the penalty area facing away from goal went for out near the left corner flag

Watching the ref at the time it was instantly clear he was pointing to the spot. No idea why the confusion arose between the two old dear’s commentating. Even the Walsall players hardly protested!

 

You can’t play left footed players who are all left foot at right back. They’ll get found out.

We are so narrow we need width and if Foulds plays there he will come back inside and it slows the game down. We need width, getting to the line and balls whipped in away from the GK on the run.

threlkeld is awful, granted, but Foulds needs to be patient. He’s been unfortunate as Ridehalgh has been the most consistent player in our side this season.

 

Whilst he wasn't as deep as Elliot Watt usually plays I'm not a big fan of Callum Cooke in that holding roll. Last night he seemed to be trying a little too hard to join the next line of three , often leaving Songo'o exposed. A better team will pick us off from that position.

He has another annoying trait of going down way too easy when caught dwelling on the ball and then whinging to the ref he was fouled. 9 times out of 10 he hasn't been fouled and needs to get in with it
