Just Callum for me. I like Cook and I'd stick with him up top if we aren't going to play two strikers.

 

I'd like to see Novak partnering either Cook or Rowe up front somehow, although not sure how the rest of the squad could accommodate that set up.

Glad to see Scales start. Nobody else at the club can replace Cooke so let's see how he does. We need to give him a chance to see if he's got a role to play next season too.

Not about the formation. We could have a right go, playing a 4231. I don't think we will, because T&S look to be safety first in their approach to games.

 

I agree with him, it's all become so predictable. As the posters above state, I'm at a loss what T&S hope to achieve by continually rotating Cook & Rowe. It's become a tough watch to tune in to these games. No ambition.

 

In fairness, I think they're trying to embed a way of playing, such that everyone knows their role and whoever plays in the position, they know their job. Watching Harrogate earlier in the season at VP, thats the sort of thing we were crying out for. I'm having doubts about their preferred playing style and mentality of how we approach games, but they do at least look like they have a plan. And the squad still needs a fair bit of work before we can judge their approach

 

I don't think they trust Rowe to do the job they want. Cook offers more as an out and out striker.

 

Rowe is quality, who else in the squad could score that Bolton goal and things went downhill against Newport after he went off, we need two proven goal scorers on the pitch up top not a rookie kid, these games are massive.

 

I haven’t seen anything from Rowe apart from the fact he likes to try and smash it every time he gets the ball. Apart from that he walks around looking a like a sulking potato.

 

If they don't want to try playing them together, then they may as well offload him. Another case of signing a player and not knowing where they will fit in. We chased him long enough to know what we were getting.

There's an argument for Hosannah but we saw him so long ago and only for a short time so it's hard to tell.
