Hopefully the law of the returning ex players works ( for once ), and they both score.

I'm hoping Sutton doesn't try too hard and gets himself sent off...

Score first and I think we'll go on to win it.

Any news as to whether a pitch inspection is required?

That's a blow, 2 Saturdays without a game, we have lost that momentum built up last month.

Why don’t we rearrange the game for next Tuesday. Forecast is for mild weather and there’s no crowd issues for police to think about. These are difficult times to get games played so let’s show a bit of imagination.

    Thanks mate.

Shame that. We starting to get a little fixture pile up and no fault of our own.

And this before any more COVID cancellations which seems more likely everyday.

Pretty poor that. Arent pitch covers meant to deal with the sort of temperatures we've had?

grrrrrr I had forgotten to do all the match graphic prep last night so spent the morning rushing to do them only for this to happen.

Ah well, at least I now have a free afternoon.

Is there a game on Tuesday or is the next one next Saturday?

In this day and age its ridiculous that any professional club has to have games called off for pitch issues. There is enough tech even at the cheaper end to combat it that with a little forward thinking it shouldn't happen

Thats my thinking. A deluge of snow - fair enough, as it likely needs a large number of people to clear the pitch, which will be an issue at present. But overnight temperatures were around -2 I belive, which covers can deal with. Were the covers even put down?

We don't seem to have many games at the moment - couple of spare midweeks.

It's not great planning given we know there's a pile up coming.

Surely we should fit in a rearranged fixture this week or next?

And calling a match off at 11am when temperatures after 12 are due to rise by 4 degrees. How deeply frozen us it ? Surely getting some sheep on it would warm ut up.

Fully agree. In 2021 with all the tech available and weather forecast known weeks in advanced.

I don't understand how a professional elite club can have a game called off and certainly not when fans are not even allowed in the ground.
