Of course budgets are very important I suggested his success at Rotherham would possible be down to be being well back financially buy Tony Stewart.
We'll have to agree to disagree I would never stop watching my team even if Ryan was daft enough to employ Evans, which I don't think he is, let's hope I'm correct.

You’re getting him mixed up with Graham Alexander……..
Wellens was sacked for a run of one win in seven.

Agreed. His budget at Rotherham was excellent.

Beagrie assaulted a barmaid (later convicted of domestic violence in a separate case)
    Collymore with Ulrika
    Lawrence was in prison
Davies and McLaughlin got us on the national news for fighting

You clapped and cheered them all.

We can't play the moral high ground now because we don't want Steve Evans.

And on a happier note on the day the first team lost at Oldham, the youth team go top of the Youth Alliance League with a 5-0 win at Lincoln City. 4 well taken goals and Penalty. I understand video of goals on Bradford City Academy Twitter page. Not on twitter myself and not sure how I would post link on this site.

Bradford City AFC Academy on Twitter: "Dylan Youmbi hit his second hat-trick of the season for our U19s v Lincoln City this morning. Further goals were scored by Olivier Sukiennicki and Jack Wilson, whilst the defence kept their third successive clean sheet in the Youth Alliance league. https://t.co/W1rVcDnXWq" / Twitter

Exactly we took our time and got our man, and then promptly sacked him after less than a single season in charge. We seemingly went against everything Sparks said about a backroom set up independent of the manager, and therefore infallible to manager change. Just ripped that supposed 'direction' up and went in another 'direction' under Adams. Now we're supposed to believe we are now going in another 'direction'. Sorry but it's just utter bull***t to meet the mood of the moment.

Good leadership does not involve changing tack every 5 minutes trying to get something to stick.

Maybe we do have an improved commercial side - difficult to see without any open accounts though isn't it? Sure those were promised at the fan's forum. Must have been another change of 'direction'.

He's full of soundbites and bull****. Tells people what they want to hear. Not the qualities of a leader.

We all have different opinions about Evans behaviour. Flashing/exposing yourself is a serious crime but not treated as such by the larger population and the Courts. It often is a precursor to more serious crime. The Police Officer who raped and murdered a woman, was caught exposing himself in a drive through a couple of weeks before he kidnapped the woman on her own. The Police were quite rightly chastised for ignoring this crime.
I have no idea whether Evans has done this again, but for me it shows a serious lack of respect for women.

One aspect of our successes has been the fans who bought into what the manager stood for and mutual respect. I cannot think Evans would command this mutual respect from the fans. I know a lot of fans want him here because they want success and he says he will get it, but we only have his word. Meanwhile we will lose a considerable amount of fans who will not attend VP. It is not good commercial business sense to dump your fans for a risky manager.

I don’t have any objection to any other manager the club want to bring in. I want success as much as the next fan, but I want us to build a structure that is solid. I want a football man to be Director of Football.
I didn’t want Adams when they brought him in, I duly bought my ST and grit my teeth, but it was much worse than I anticipated and I stopped going before Christmas.

Now the Board must listen to the fans and think about this on a long term basis. We will not be promoted this season and probably next. It is a project and as long as we are moving forward and the players are improving we can live with that until the good times flow again.

Spot on. I can happy clap with the best of them but the last 2 years have just compounded something we thought impossible to compound.

It’s not just that it’s everything about you want him as manager fair enough but to me he’s a man whose living in what he did in the past and ain’t we as fans sick of people coming in and bleeding the club dry because of past reputations????

I don't want him as Manager. Wild or Woodgate for me.

Just keen to point out how hypocritical some of the Anti Evans rhetoric seems.

You're opening yourself up there for hypocrisy with Woodgate
Wild, Cant see us paying any compo for an insitu manager after just shelling compo out for Adams.

I would take Woodgate. I don't think we can keep holding mistakes people made 10-15 years ago, against them.
I'm not keen on Evans but that's because I think we need to build something over 4-5 seasons and he's not that type of Manager.

I agree BUT in resent post match interviews Adam's has hardly helped himself, post match interviews really do put a manager on the spot, unfortunatly as fans we ask for answers straight after the game, these guys are usually past footballers who have gone into club management they and are not positions who lie through their teeth to get it over and done with ASAP, should Ryan have stood strong and backed his man time will tell.
