Ipswich and Norwich, more or less my local teams have buckets of these type of kids. I watched one on loan to Kings Lynn , pre pandemic . Left winger 19, shit hot! They just hoover up local talent , and spit them out every season. Peterborough watch them afterwards then pounce.

I said I didn't think Lavery or Robinson were the types to roll their sleeves up, so we have difference of opinions from what we've seen of them in their short appearances this season, my original reply was with regards Turnbull getting his cards as Adams wasn't impressed with either Lavery and Robinson.

Adams would of have an input in Robinson and Lavery.

What he wouldn’t have been impressed with is the real poor quality in the squad. He has even said himself i had an say in who was saying in December but it’s not until you really work with them you realise.

So for me Adams wouldn’t have been happy the club not getting rid of the shite. Not getting in quality before he joined and the lack of budget.

Not to have a UK scouting system is not on Turnbull. It’s on the club for being lazy and cheap.

I'm still confused but never mind, we can just agree to disagree on Robinsons character. Have a chilled Sunday!

I agree It worked well with Angol the problem was the lad seems injury prone, as I've posted lets hope once he's match fit they can strike what was looking a formidable strike force back up.

Not a great performance but another clean sheet and a point isn’t the worst thing from a long away trip. Picking up points away from home and winning your home games is a good recipe for success if we can do that consistently.

Interesting that Cooke has gone off the boil so early in the season. The first few games he was really dictating the play, especially our attacking play, but now he seems to be less involved and our attacking play is suffering for it. Other than the Angol injury I’m not sure what’s changed.

Agree it will be interesting when our injured players return who will get brought back and at the expense of who, for me Angol is a no brainer but will he bring his Captain Canavan straight back into the team and if so who makes way for Songo in midfield or does he default to a bench warmer.

It’s not a recipe for success at all.

Sport involves pressure and you don’t want to build pressure. I don’t know what it is with some of you.

So a draw at weekend now means we need to win on Saturday. A draw means 2 points from 6. Yes, we won’t win every game but we must win away games.

It was interesting that Cook looked happier with Robinson for support as the game went on, Maybe a possibility if Angol struggles to return

2 teams won 12 of their 23 away games last season

Everybody else won less than half their away games

There is always pressure to win games. I would say that the pressure to win our home games is going to be there every game regardless of our away results. Winning the majority of our home games means that picking up draws away from home (and stopping other teams winning their home games) is likely going to have us around a promotion place.

Bruenker ran around a lot too. same as your point on Cook, we need better than that from them. Effort and application is the bare minimum

I didn't realise anyone got booed that's so stupid I can't help but feel we have some really really unintelligent fans this season that's just another occasion that leaves me a bit stunned by quite how stupid some of them are

Especially considering he’s in a mid table league 2 team, not an England international. We’ll only get better when we’re playing at a better level.

I'd keep Songo'o at CB. He's performed better there than he has in midfield. Then its up to the manager to decide if Paudie gets replaced by Canavan, or Canavan knuckles down and looks to get selected ahead of Oconnor or Songo'o. To be honest, we've been leaking goals, and now we've stemmed the flow somewhat with Songo'o there, would be an error to change the back line imo.

Needs Vince’s goal threat. Our set pieces looked poor on Saturday
