You can't put Julian in the same bracket as Stafford Geoff or Mark Lawn, he has never been the voice of Bradford City he left that to Mark.
I'm not saying I agree with nothing coming out of the club but Ryan is limited to what he can say, as above Julian was never the front man and it seems our owner isn't interested in keeping fans involved.

French is still learning his craft. In reality he should have been out on loan before being called up. He was a development player who's still learning, only it's in our first team at a time when we can ill afford it.

I'm not sure intelligence is the issue, I see people on here, and twitter etc, who are clearly intelligent people, usually reasonable in their views on most things going on in the world - but are for some reason blind to any failing on the part of Stuart McCall.

The only sporting memorabilia I possess is a City shirt signed by him, with a hand stitched number 4 on it as it pre-dated squad numbers. It hangs proudly in my home office, I feel and understand the attachment to McCall the player, but his managerial failings speak for themselves and I find it bewildering so may refuse to see or accept it.

Rupp, Rhodes, Sparks, McCall, Black and our so called professional footballers - you are an currently an embarrassment to the club, the fans and most of all to yourselves!!
There, I feel a little better now - but not a lot : unamused:

    Great insight, thanks Roger

Like you I didn't think we deserved to lose that game and had some sympathy with McCall until he brought DMH on to replace Samuels. I understand from the post match interview that Samuels had run himself into the ground, but DMH has never influenced match...ever. Surely he should have brought on Zeli.
With regards Orients goal, it was just about undefendable (if that's a word). It was a superb delivery and the biggest, strongest player on the pitch timed his run superbly. The sort of thing we all hoped Donaldson would be doing but unfortunately we can only dream.

That's the change I would have made, Zeli needs game time something Stuart keeps telling us with regards players in our squad, he showed more in his 20 minute cameo at Salford than DMH has show so far in his game minutes this season, I'm not suggesting Zeli is the answer to our problems but surely he was the better option.

Agreed. Injury issues aside, Zeli at least is a footballer. He can play the game and make things happen. We have no other player who can go past a man, although AOC was having a good go last night

AOC is one of the few players who does have a go in my opinion, I know he gets a bit of grief on here from some ( he's certainly not helped by the rest of the team being so weak willed) and he has his limitations but he tries to do something, even if its not often successful!

With regards the free kick that lead to their goal when was the last time we saw a delivery like that which said get your head on the end of this, I know the old grey matter isn't as good as it was but I cant recall a resent situation where a ball was delivered into the opposition box with that sort of accuracy for their 6"5' central defender to head home.

Was it Muirhead who was once described as continually going up “footballing cul de sacs”.

After DMH left first time (he must be due to go again)
he had 5 clubs in 2 years! Doesn't that say something!

We can't afford passengers and he just doesn't pay the
    fare.

....and no goals. Nasty nasty midfielders not playing balls over the top.

That is so funny from PP but unfortunately really captures the essence of DMH's playing skills :)
