Sorry if this offends anyone but RoD strikes me as one of them that likes to be seen to be doing something. Flapping his hands, being noisy, ball is smashed past him but he had his hands up and was waving them - oh well,it was too good but I'd tried. Same thing I felt like with O'Connor. Always hated playing with that kind of player on my team. Much rather have someone who gets their head down and tries their best without any of the dramatics and feigned effort.

Be nice one time if we went out and invested in a keeper we knew was strong enough to be number one. We can argue over O'Donnell or Hornby but honestly they're both much of a muchness. OK, they'll both have the odd good match or there'll be a time when they win us a match or a point and we'll remember a save but they'll lose us enough as well by just being pretty average unfortunately.

 

That looks even worse from that angle, ROD stands up he saves it all though he might not have known a lot bout it.

 

Quite agree. Paudie was rightly criticised for failing to stop the cross against Stevenage. Canavan deserves equal criticism here. For all his composure he's painfully slow.

 

Find the morons and ban them, no great loss.
I've attended hundreds of games without throwing anything onto the pitch. It's really not difficult to do.

 

Think he should get over fans calling him shit it’s part of the parcel for any footballer. Compared with the awful abuse the young England lads got and black players get every week it’s small fry, he has a very thin skin. If he focused more effort on his career and less on enjoying his old teams defeats he might still have a career. That said not sure why any City fan follows him on social media to even see it, hard to think of less likeable players in my time watching us.

 

Both of them need a good dose of growing up !

It went right through his hands as his legs were buckling. Stand up and he saves that with ease.

 

He’s not a very good keeper is he. Did he sign a contract extension? Neither are No.1 material

 

Not sure what Hornby has done wrong to be honest. Looked very secure in that winning run but seems to have out of the picture since been rugby tackled and pushed back 8 yards over his line at Carlisle.

He has looked more than comfortable every other game with much better command of his area and miles better distribution. His only fault it seems is not vocal on Twitter or clapping the kop every 5 minutes

 

Oh god yes, that Carlisle game with the wind was horrific!!

Yep first time I saw it , I thought worldy. Still some shot to get it in from that angle but if ROD bloody stood up it would have been blocked easy.

 

R'Od would struggle to catch covid most weeks.

 

As RT suggested, Canavan is as much at fault as ROD for that goal
