I guess Adams would say he got Daly in who was having a similar impact at Hartlepool.

Problem is we have way too many players that want to play in that space - Walker, Daly, Gilliead, Cooke, maybe Sutton. We have so little variety in the squad it is shocking.

 

Its the problem when you spout the number of chances but sign non scoring forwards to take them.
This is a massive failing and it is totally down to Adams

He hasn't mentioned it for ages. Probably because it's become pitiful. He's now quoting shots or something else instead which he feels gives a more positive outlook. He seems to have forgotten how he was preaching about xG at the start of the season. Basically, he chooses the stats that suit his narrative.
