Akpan/Ismael/McCartan are badly needed for this squad. We'd look a different side with 2 real wingers and Akpan dominating the middle.

Badly need a pacy winger on loan.

That was what I was thinking after a comment on the Hanson thread at least one of our fans will be buzzing.

 

In two games, Vaughan has had two decent balls to work with. He’s hit the bar and scored a goal. The midfield - and the system played by the manager with this section - have been put problems.

 

The midfield is shocking.

Devine on for Anderson is like swapping dog shi& for horse shi&.

We’ve looked better after Scannell and Devine came on. Not good, but better. More balanced.

This nonsense lineup from the last two games has to stop. And please, no more Anderson in any position.

Anderson, Devine and Colville all offered contracts I knew Bowyer had to be questioned.

Certainly with Anderson. Devine I think makes sense. And of the purse strings are closed, I’d take Devine over Anderson in the starting line up any time.

We’ve been more balanced and ‘OK’ since the changes. More balanced. Still needs to be much better though though.

 

Loving "OK" as the new benchmark....

 

We’re not allowed to question Bowyer and his tactics though. “It’s only the 2nd game FFS”, so even though we can see it isn’t working playing 4-3-3 with the players we have, we can’t speak out or if we do, we get called negative...!
