That doesn't make sense. Evans and Clarke are here now and probably been missed today. They have both played their part in the unbeaten run under T&S, whether they are in their plans long term or not.

As for play offs, I have never thought we would get near them anyhow, again despite this recent run.

I stick to my point though that we have missed too.many experienced players today

No great shakes this we’ve been decent for 7/8 games let’s not be too down beat . We was due one wasnt we ? These aren’t a bad team at all I’ve watched a few of there games this season and there decent enough . We’re missing a few players . First game for a few . No panic needed

 

Beaten by a better footballing side today. Too much kick and rush by us, sad to say but Exeter deserved the win today

 

We were second best no doubt about that, but as you know it will be the usual suspects with their "the bubble has burst" crap

A disappointing day, that probably reminded us we still have work to do before we’re ready to challenge for anything near the top 7. Our right side was a problem all day - I don’t see what Stevens offers and for all that there’s a question mark over Billy Clarke’s offensive contribution he does his job well defensively. I don’t think its any coincidence that FCD had a mare without him front. I’d expect AOC to move to the right and Canavan to come in.

We can’t really complain with the result. It’s days like this which will examine the credentials of T&S. As will the response.

On the plus side, Vernam and Crankshaw look like they’ll be good additions.

 

Exeter just too strong for us.

A lot to work on, but we are rebuilding a squad mid-season.
